Love this course
I have played this course four of fives times in the past few years and it is always a great time. Super fun course and well landscaped to show off the natural beauty of the area. Just beware the toothy wildlife lurking in the water. The gators can have my ball. I will take the drop lol. Great staff and swift beverage cart are a plus.
Fun beach course
Great course on the banana river/cocoa beach. Wasn’t expecting much, but course was in good shape. Fairways could use some TLC. Many bare/dirt spots but greens made up for it. Greens were a bit slow but in great shape. Fun layout. Wind was awful that day so can’t fault the course. Some driveable par 4s in better playing conditions which makes it fun. Driving range is in real bad shape.
Rating of round
Pace of play, good. Greens very good, course a little dry, overall good for the price.
Solo outing
Played this course many times with a friend whose health now prevents play. 3 nines in different combos. Dolphin/ River is my favorite . Paired w/ 3 golfers, Greens were fine Wind made it more challenging.
Nice day
Was not expecting much. And was pleasantly surprised. While not great, the layout was reasonable. Not tight but that’s ok. Conditions were fair, greens pretty good. I was worried about pace of play, but we were right around 4 hours on a very crowded day.
All in all a nice day and good value
Disappointed
I've played this course many times, this being the first time this year. The tee boxes reminded me of sandboxes. The fairways we're terrible. The greens were acceptable, but slow.
I won't return, until I hear the conditions are improved.
Fun course. Parts under repair.
I always enjoy playing this course three 9’s (river, lake & dolphin). All t-boxes were under repair on the 2nd hole of River. Temp tees made it a very short 75 yard par 3. Other than that, it was in good shape. Starter was a little crabby but the rest of the staff was very nice.
Disappointed
I played Cocoa Beach Country club yesterday. The tee boxes were horrendous, fairways mostly burnt out, and greens only average.
Bad staff
First time at court my playing partner hit a errant shot when we came back to our green the ranger yells about where we drove back. I explained that I am a first time golfer here and not used to the surroundings but he continued to belittle me in front of my friends. Ignored him and tried to make the best of it, for a course that is in poor condition he acts as if you're playing at the Masters
Cocoa beach country club
tee boxes were below par, fairways and green were in awesome shape. driving range tee area was all dirt little grass.
