Providence Golf Club

Enjoyed a great morning, starting with a buggy dropped off at our car for our clubs, great pro shop, had a bucket of balls, then got out before our tee time. Course in good condition with greens all good. Course layout was also good. Saw lots of wildlife in the round including 3 Aligators. Would play again.

Boy it reminds you how much of a PIA it is to walk or have 90° rules. There were several holes that were cart path only. They have some drainage issues or something going on. There were several tee boxes that were close too. All greens pretty much every part of the green and every fairways were very nice. It hasn't been raining much lately and water is expensive so they've been watering a lot to keep everything so nice.

Over 10 years since I played here. What a huge difference with all the housing . Completely different look. Made it very enjoyable remembering the hole as it looked it the past. Some holes were cart path only because of afternoon rains. Very playable. Greens were fantastic...the GPS was smal and hard to read cart path only holes and if you didn't pay attention the cart died and you had to reverse back to path. They need a beep or something on the tee to alert you. All in all impressed.

Unless you play in the afternoon in the middle of the summer. You’re most likely gonna play a 5 to 6 hour round because they over stack the tee times.

Great value, course was in really good shape. Who is recently aerrified, but has grown back in nicely. Putting was very smooth considering. Fairways were in pretty good shape. A few tea boxes were in repair

Course was in good shape. Greens were punched 2 weeks ish ago so almost all the way healed. Played from the blues but a few tee boxes were closed. Overall in good shape and pace of play was 4 hours.

A good friendly club. Staff very helpful. Played here last week and happy to come back again this week. Good value for money. Course in good shape.

Very professional staff - nice, green fairways and beautiful greens. We will be back!

The course was perfect from tee to green! Friendly staff, newer carts and an overall enjoyable round!. If there was any negative it would be the proximity alarms on the carts as you approach a green. They are far too sensitive! When you are driving to be sure to avoid the green area, from a good distance out, the carts lock up and make you drive in reverse. On the rd hole, the carts lock path cuts through the fairway…I ventured to the right and it immediately locked up. I was a long distance form the green.

Returning after about 5 years. Still a great valour for money course. Pace of play was good. Marshall’s could be seen. We will visit again.

Got a Hot Deal to play Providence for the 1st time. The pro shop staff is very friendly. Some minor repairs on some tee boxes and aerated greens, but overall, the course is a great layout.

Course was challenging at time and some holes give you a chance to test your skills.

Couldn’t beat it for the price.

Loved everything about the course; however, it was tough to deal with some of the repair that was going on in some of tee boxes. Since on the hour the sprinklers would turn out without warning so you’d get soaked lol. However, greens rolled true and well kept. Fairways in good condition just crunchy and dry. I will still recommend 10/10 the staff and amenities made it awesome!
