Providence Golf Club

I brought my nephews and their 2 handicap friend. Our foursome had three tee boxes we used and still got around well under four hours.

The course was in great shape and the Pro shop staff and dining/ bar area are always cordial and helpful with any questions.

Just love playing here...even when it's as hot as it was....my nephews and friend ( he shot a 73 ) loved the layout and especially the greens.

It is a nice course. Nice layout. It’s kept in good condition.

Played many years ago this course and it’s sad to see that all the beautiful nature has changed into house areas. The course itself is as I remembered. Nice layout, enough variation and well maintained. Buggy with gps. Little remark about the the price (15$) for the range balls, in my opinion too much. Staff friendly.

Played Providence today, poorly managed staff. Pro shop tried to overcharge rates that were posted cheaper on there website. It was 95 degrees outside and there were no ice machines or coolers by the golf carts. I went up to restaurant to get ice and staff member (female) rudely said no. Told her just paid for golf, had receipt in hand, she said no and had audacity to tell me I had to purchase a 6 pack of beer for ice. She should be immediately fired. I will not be going back to poorly managed golf course, and I would advise everyone the same. Unacceptable and disappointing.

Greens and fairways were great. Tee boxes were patchy. Fun layout with getable par 5's and reasonable length par 3's. Lots of challenging par 4's as a course should be. Pace was HORRENDOUS. 5+ hour round. 5-somes are permissible. Saw the ranger lots, but he didn't deal with slow groups.

Overall it is a nice course. They seem to do a good job of focusing on the tee boxes, fairways and greens which makes most playing conditions great. The sand traps and rough seem to be less of a focus but I don't use them much so I'm happy with the course.

I have played this course many times. This course is generally in great shape and challenging from the blue tees. Playing every club in your bag. The par 3's are what I'd consider a great test, the shorter ones have challenging greens, while the longer set-up require good shot making. The par5's require some strategic layups and the par 4's are shaped differently with great character. Staff is a good team, very welcoming and professional. You won't be disappointed.

The course itself is in great shape. Tee to green are all solid minus a couple tee boxes that are closed and being worked on. Only complaint would be is our tee time was at 10:16. Didn’t tee off until 10:40ish and took till after 3 o’clock to finish. It Was a Saturday so I see how it can happen. Will definitely be back!

Seemed weird in FL NOT to have senior tees. If red were to represent senior tees. Then there are no ladies tees. Super strange

Not in as good condition as it was last November, probably due to the hot weather they've had,will play again though,when back over in November this year.

Unfortunately rained out after #15 but it was good. Nice layout, starter and pro shop staff were friendly. There are a couple of holes where course knowledge would save a shot or two. Definitely worth trying again sometime.
