Providence Golf Club meanders through forests of ancient hardwoods, freshwater creeks, and natural wetlands. The course's scenic landscape also serves as home to an abundance of wildlife including otters, deer, and wild turkeys. Mike Dasher designed the golf course, allowing his admiration for European-style golf course to be reflected in his unique undulated greens. Dasher combined elements of heathland, parkland, and traditional Florida-style courses to create a layout that is both endlessly versatile and visually stunning. A notable hole is the par-4 14th, which will either make or break your score. Golfers will face the most demanding tee shot on the entire course that will determine your chances of reaching the hole in regulation. Providence Golf Club has a strong local following but it is also popular amongst visitors since it sits just fifteen minutes from the major theme parks.

Play the course greens were aerated. Fairways were being worked on. It’ll be back in perfect shape. Starting next season. It’s in good shape now.

Providence Golf Course

First time we’ve been back in a while which we were looking forward as we had good memories. However and unfortunately the course condition was poor.. The tees were battered and fairways bare and damaged in lots of areas on the course. Greens not too bad but the surrounds poor with bare patches. Overall disappointed because we were looking forward to returning to Providence.

Very good layout 'cept #8, never liked that hole. Rest of track is fun to play...lots of gators as well. There are a few rough patches but overall fairways and greens good. Will play again before we leave. Would recommend.
