Providence Golf Club meanders through forests of ancient hardwoods, freshwater creeks, and natural wetlands. The course's scenic landscape also serves as home to an abundance of wildlife including otters, deer, and wild turkeys. Mike Dasher designed the golf course, allowing his admiration for European-style golf course to be reflected in his unique undulated greens. Dasher combined elements of heathland, parkland, and traditional Florida-style courses to create a layout that is both endlessly versatile and visually stunning. A notable hole is the par-4 14th, which will either make or break your score. Golfers will face the most demanding tee shot on the entire course that will determine your chances of reaching the hole in regulation. Providence Golf Club has a strong local following but it is also popular amongst visitors since it sits just fifteen minutes from the major theme parks.

Did not disappoint

Staffs were friendly from the bag drop, check in clerk to the starter ! Putting greens speed was very close to course greens so I didn’t have to adjust mụch during the round . A few holes were cart path only due to recent rains. Could not ask for better conditions overall . Greens rolled true and decently fast . Fairways were soft and nice to hit off . Bunkers had a nice fluff of sand . Some the roughs were high but not crazy where we could find our balls . Only negative was the pace due to a tournament they had before us , but it didn’t feel like a +5hr round . I guess it’s all about expectations. Would play here again anytime!! One of our favorite courses.

Great condition-fluky GPS carts

carts were GPS guided and was very uneven. sometimes stopped u from entering fairway from 225 yards, other times wouldn't let u get to cart path. very annoying but course is in perfect shape w fast greens

Providence is a very nice course. Good layout, good hot deal on Golf Now. I was impressed with the fairways. They were in excellent shape. Greens were rolling nicely. Tee boxes were well kept. Overall- wry good experience.

beat the rain

needing to use my credit and a good "hot deal" to boot..Providence has become my go-to...just over 2 hrs as a single, missed 1 hole and beat the t-storms...HOWEVER...what the hey?

c'mon..fix your BallMarks and fill the Divots..then fix someone else's ..obviously there are plenty to accommodate that gesture... and not by any means, confined to this course! can't claim to be a golfer, if you know nothing of etiquette !

Recently punched

Greens were punched within the last 2 weeks but rolled pretty well and they discounted rate. I was the third group off on Sunday morning. The ranger let a 5 some off first but they split into a 2 and 3 some so no delays. Course was soggy and a few holes cart path only. I only saw 2 rakes on the entire property so sand traps were not in good shape.

Played in 3.5 hours on a Sunday so that’s always a huge plus
