Providence Golf Club

My wife and I played it for the 1st time. They put us with another couple that knew the course which was helpful. Other than us slowing down the groups behind us and letting a few groups go through it was a fantastic day. There were some very challenging holes and some easier ones which was fun! The wind made the course even more challenging. Overall a great day on a fun challenging course that was in very good shape. Green fees were $65 or so after taxes and golfpass fees. You won't regret playing this course.

Well maintained course; friendly starter (Jack); very nice course conditions.

Only played the front nine. Pro shop was letting people tee off early. I teed off early, let a group play through thinking they’d be quicker than me. I then sat on top of them every shot and had someone on top of me every shot who had someone on top of him every shot. I was sick of being stressed by being between a slow group and two people behind me so I left after nine.

This course needs a full time starter enforcing tee times and proper gapping between groups. They book at eight minutes between tee times.

Have been playing here for years always recommended to friends .

Yesterday played the starter was fantastic as always

Range balls $10 for maybe 25 balls

Course is in rough condition but for $39 I expected that

Every year we play course it gets worse condition wise but we love the layout some great holes

The bunker in front of #2 green is a farmers field it’s embarrassing

The course playability was fine greens good

We tee off at 2 moving along nicely we should finish

Then we start getting messages on screen course closing at 630 ??

Then Marshall comes out to tell us we have to have cart in by 615

So we only play 14 holes I am ok with that we got our moneys worth but what a small minded approach to a business

This course has so much potential just a shame that no one seems to care

The course layout was fun and challenging enough. When I arrived for my late afternoon tee time, I was told that Golfnow shouldn’t have tee times that late and that the cart would have to be back 45 minutes after I teed off. Greens were sandy but I would’ve liked a disclaimer or some notice prior to showing up to a course what time carts should be returned.
