Providence Golf Club

This course has the potential to be a top notch course. The front side is established and the back side has future homes coming. Golf carts are new. The course has length if you choose it. Greens for this time of the year have been vertica cut and top dressed but still put well. Fairways are lush and ball sits up nicely. Enjoyable course, go play.

Always enjoy playing here, course was in good shape for the beginning of the summer heat. Will continue to play here on a regular basis, no complaints.

Golf.is not only about the course but about the people who represent the management team. It is the experience that draws ppl back to play again…nuff said!

Providence is in great shape; particularly the greens. Nice layout and some really fun holes. Some bare spots just off some of the greens but Florida has been in a months long drought. Very nice pro shop and very nice personnel.

Clearly this course has gone significantly downhill since the last time I played it about 5 years ago. I understand that a lot of maintenance is needed when there is almost as much erosion, dead grass and weeds than there is grass in the fairways. But they should be ashamed when they are doing that maintenance while people are trying to play. We had to play through getting soaked by sprinklers on the fairways, having lawn mowers swing right out in front of you during your backswing, guys with trimmers working the tee box. The worst was the crew aerating the greens AS WE WERE PLAYING. We stood there for several minutes while they made multiple passes on the green. When they finally finished, we were able to putt. But they simply moved to the next hole, ignored that we were there and wanted us to wait again. We finally just skipped the hole so we could get a head of them. I really don't understand why they would even send us out in that situation. There appear to be a grounds keeper supervisor right there watching what was happening, but he just ignored us too. Your money would be better spent almost anywhere than here. You can't say you weren't warned.

Good course very quiet in good condition and friendly staff will play again before we go home

What is great shape, staff was welcoming and friendly.

Only problem I had, which is a minor one but very important. We had to pay $.75 per cup for water and ice. There was no ice maker with the water that you can get out by the golf cart area.

Every course I have ever played at has had a water dispenser and ice maker on the outside of the building to fill up a cup of cold water with ice. It was . who is out on some holes refill the water cup that I payed $.75 for.

Other than that free water and ice issue cost was fantastic. I had a great time me and my two sons.

I have played this course many times pre covid and this my first time since. An excellent example of what a golf course should be both on and off the course. Great food, pro-shop, staff and course and thought the changes made since I last visited really enhanced it. I will play again ⛳️
