Providence Golf Club meanders through forests of ancient hardwoods, freshwater creeks, and natural wetlands. The course's scenic landscape also serves as home to an abundance of wildlife including otters, deer, and wild turkeys. Mike Dasher designed the golf course, allowing his admiration for European-style golf course to be reflected in his unique undulated greens. Dasher combined elements of heathland, parkland, and traditional Florida-style courses to create a layout that is both endlessly versatile and visually stunning. A notable hole is the par-4 14th, which will either make or break your score. Golfers will face the most demanding tee shot on the entire course that will determine your chances of reaching the hole in regulation. Providence Golf Club has a strong local following but it is also popular amongst visitors since it sits just fifteen minutes from the major theme parks.

See For Yourself

Had personal feedback and online reviews on how good course layout and conditions were. All lived up to recommendation. Several negative feedback on customer service of staff but it was quite the opposite today. Both folks we actually dealt with were quite positive. One even offered my wife, a beginner, a temporary bag as we traveled with her few clubs in my bag. The only negative I did see as in reviews were the staff cutting tee boxes and watering greens on 2nd half of back nine as we were trying to finish our round. It All in all, a great experience, as me and wife both thoroughly enjoyed the course.

Strange....

Layout of the course good, also the fairways, greens even better but overall a strange experience. Reached Providence an hour before tee time. No bag drop service at all. No traffic on the course but get no chance to play earlier. Were sent to the Restaurant to grab a coffee or so...but no server showed up. No private coolers on cart allowed, went with the cart cooler to the Restaurant to get ice cubes. Answer was: if you buy products you'll get ice cubes. So hot Deal players should stay hot on the course.....ridiculess. The whole staff was captured by some management rules they better should change. No welcome atmosphere, course conditions better than hidden management orders. Played next day hawkings landing.....different World in any service.

Great Value!!

I played the course several years ago. Wanted to go vack and check the course out again.. I'm glad I did had a great time pretty hot out today. The course wasn't crowded so the pace of play was great hit extra balls. I recommend check out the course 4 greens were cart path only. The tee boxes needs some TLC for the most part their heading in a good direction. Keep up the good work!!

This course has great greens.

We had a lovely round of golf until the lightning started. We have played Providence many times and have always enjoyed ourselves. There are some tricky holes and it’s good to know where the best place is to place the ball to reach the greens. We look forward to playing here again.

When 10 out of 18 holes are cart path only, this should be mentioned on the website

Yes 4 out of the 10 are par 3's but still 6 holes come on

The one upside is the carts are brand new with GPS course it self is hit or miss on a few holes tee boxes fairways and approach shots, but the really bad thing which is not entirely the courses fault no one fixing their ball marks on the greens. This is why golf is getting extremely expensive for local golfers
