Providence Golf Club

This is a good course to play at a somewhat reasonable cost. Staff was Johnny on the spot to pick up clubs and were very helpful on cart returns. Didn't have any issues other than maybe a little slow play.

We had played it a few days prior, when they had cart path only that day, so was a long day and don't like to play that way. Did ask to cancel, but the course sounded like that would be hard to do. Policy is 48 hours cancelation and understand that, but wasn't happy with weather cart play only ruling we had to play.

I would still recommend this as a course to play, however.

This course was in the best condition of all the courses I’ve played this snow bird season, unfortunately the pace of play 2 hours 10 minutes front but a 3 hour 15 minute back took its toll. They have cart GPS so the pro shop knows what is going on and who the culprits are but seem unable or unwilling to correct. When we got to 12 a par three there was a foursome on the green and a foursome and a threesome ahead of our foursome on the tee. It went downhill from there! Totally destroyed our enjoyment of a great course.

Additionally the staff (the starter was friendly and helpful) in the bar were rude and uncaring, went in for two bottles of water and a cup of ice, the bar girl was making a face like I was annoying her then charged me for the two waters. and then charged me for the cup of ice as well.

Everything was perfect. Got paired up with 2 fellow Canadians. The course is really wide open however they have different colors for all handicaps. You can easily find one to suit your game. Tees fairways and greens were all in really good shape. I have been down in the Kissimmee area since early January. Today after Playing my 12th different course since January I can easily say it was the nicest one I have played. So congratulations to grounds crew great job. I will not mention the one negative which was a really grumpy starter. I didn't let him ruin my day. Great job Providence it was a pleasure playing your course .

Love this course would play it again in a heart beat. Played the whites which is a bit long for us 76 year old seniors. Whites are a bit to short. Great condition but getting a bit pricy

We enjoyed our round at Providence. Course layout is very nice and conditions were good. However the pace of play was poor. It took 5+ hours to play and when we reached the par 3 12th hole, there was 4 groups waiting. We mentioned to staff at end of the round and they commented that there are no marshals on the course because the GPS on the carts monitor pace.

Nice course, good people. Will definitely come back and play again. One downside -- they closed the restaurant at 5:00 without warning -- we were still on the deck enjoying a beverage. The doors were all locked to go inside... couldn't even use the bathroom!

Weird for a Saturday night!!!

Did not use range as it was mats only. Cart GPS is accurate. Greens were in good condition and rolled true. Pace of play was an issue. No ranger to be seen. Our group consistently waited on every shot. Can't speak to off-course amenities as we did not partake.

My wife and I fully enjoyed ourselves. Course was picturesque, great condition. Greens and fairways in excellent shape. 2pm tee off. Good pace. Finished in just under 4 hours. Only negative was cart person came by just once, 3 rd hole, and the lounge was closed after our round, wanted a drink on the patio.

for some reason they don't seem to care about the pace of play the GPS said we were behind by 38 minutes no marshal seen at all waited on almost every hole when we get to number 12 there are 4 groups on this hole. well over 5 hours to play. It was the same the last time I played they need to do a better job.

Paid $100 to play and took 5:45 to play. Course was ok. Greens were great. Waiting 10 minutes on every shot sucks. Then we had a group sneak in at the turn that was even slower. Worth the money just need the rangers to do their job.

Nice course, the day we played was wet/cold/windy for the first nine holes then cleared. The course was in good shape . the greens played and rolled well but were brown in color.(probably the type of grass) I thought the it was a bit pricey but would recommend it to all

Nice course. Fairways in good condition. Green’s excellent. Very enjoyable.

Didn’t stay for dinner but what a fantastic course and friendly staff. The greens are fantastic, best value yet. Will play again before heading home.
