I had played this course many times in previous years, but I never had seen it in this kind of shape. Photo submitted by photorick1010 on 07/25/2014

The only thing worth making a positive comment on was on for this round was the beer girl. Photo submitted by photorick1010 on 07/25/2014
I had not played this course since 1995 ,when it was called arrowhead. The back 9 was challenging, not bad shape and I would play here again especially with my military discount.
Nice
Extremely nice
Can’t even compare it to the way it was a few months ago
Greens are beautiful
All in all excellent conditions
HUGE Improvements
Davie has underwent huge greens mprovements!! Keep up the great initiative so the fairways can continue to be enhanced and the bunkers can be a major focus. New carts are also an excellent addition!!!
Great golf course
This was one of the best golf courses that I’ve ever played in Florida. They changed the grass on the greens this past summer and they rolled really nice. They have brand new carts which were really nice. For the price, this is a must play golf course.
They are still working on maintaining the course conditions. The cart Girl was awesome!
This course is a must play course for the price. They constantly keep working on to improve the course.
Good value challenging course
Greens in excellent shape with many undulations and speed. Fairways in good shape l. #1 could use some work. Nice change from 2 years ago as the greens were just redone in 24. Water on several holes and greens makes it fun to play. Well worth considering to play
New greens course is trending up
Gimmick track with unnecessary tricky undulated greens and blind shots on almost every hole. Water on every hole, not an issue, just good for those who haven’t played here to know. The course conditions are getting better since the last couple of years. New greens that are healthy and lush. Greens somewhat slow, very grainy, not sure why all the reviews say they are fast. Greens soft and receptive. Hole 7 tee box shut down for reno, tees moved up and playing as a par 3. I payed $75 for a 9am tee time but that’s too much for what you get here. I wouldn’t pay more than $50 to play here. Overall fair with potential to get better. I will say I was excited to play the course again and hear all the positive comments. Good to see Davie Golf Club back, just not a premium course nor should you pay premium price to play here.
Big Surprise
I played this couse last year and promised myself to never go back to this course because the greens were not greens, à lot of everything but no grass.
This year they replaced all the greens and the results are spectacular !
Congratulations
Great post-renovation
Greens were like a bumpy rollercoaster in the past. Now that they have been renovated they are fantastic. They roll true and fast and are challenging instead of frustrating. Fairways are being worked on and need time to grow in. Expect frequent mudballs. Bunkers all have loose-type sand and, with the exception of a few hardpan spots near cart paths, approaches are soft and rough is fluffy. This is a high-bounce golf course.
First time I went post-renovation, the pace of play was super slow, but there was a big party group that was holding things up. 2nd time back and it was fine, though we did have some inpatient asian jerks hitting up on us on the last few holes (they hit my cart and then hit the woman in my group, bruising her thigh, while we were walking off the green). This place still attracts bro-golfers and people that play from too far back for their skill level (contributing to pace problem).
Rangers and starters are all awesome, though. Very friendly and very active in sanding people's divots. Everyone on staff was a delight. Management also seems receptive and very active in responding to reviews and feedback.
There's only a portable building with snacks and drinks, but there's a nice cart girl that makes the rounds.
This place should definitely be in your rotation for south florida public golf.
Challenging Course for Beginners
Every hole has a water hazard that will surely gobble us your half-swings and chops from the tee. Bring an extra box of balls because you will need them for the water donations—otherwise, there is nice staff inside the pro shop to help you out and extraordinary selections of refreshments. There is a Low-pressure atmosphere, except for typically encountered judgy golf players who think they need to sneer at beginner golfers.
