stay out of the water and don't hit over the green Photo submitted by fishinmission on 03/17/2013
very nice
very nice, i will play this golf course regularly
Fla trip
Good value and course is in excellent shape crowds have thinned at this time of the year pace was great tee it up and go 9:15 tee time
Old school course
Greens need some work but there had been a bunch of rain so I don't know how that affects it.
Good value for the money
Teed off at 2:30 and has a really tough time getting my round in. Course was very busy and play was slow but not painfully so. Lots of water on the course. Saw my first alligator... I would definately play it again for the discount price online.

Greens were excellent but a little slow. Fairways and tee boxes are clearly marked no invasion grass! Played from blue tees and offes a challenge for lower handicap golfers!
Fun Course
Some interesting holes. Learn where the water is, particularly on 9 and 18. It is often out of sight until you walk up to the great shot you just hit and find out it tumbled into the water.
Windy Day at Indianwood
The course has some interesting features such as the mounding on the first hole. Water that comes into play on several holes like to par five fourth and number nine, It doesn't play long @ just over 6000 yds from the back tees, the second shot into the greens have to be place well as the greens are fast and have subtle slope. Overall a fun course to play.
Long drive
Drove 45 minutes to play, course was ok but wouldn't go back
Manager Needs manners lessons
We had a party of 6 with a scheduled tee time enjoying some family time together. 3 generations present. The manager took upon himself to come out to us first on the back nine to tell us that we could not all play together which was course policy. So we did not. We started on the back nine since our tee time was taken with 4 other carts in front of us and Stevie said we could go to the back nine. Once we got to the first hole again the manager came out to us to explain golf etiquette and that we had already played. Little did he know before he spoke that we started on the back nine. He then said others had this tee time which it was an older couple and we spoke directly to them and let them play past us. With nobody behind us for 3 more holes some other person came out and gave us the 3rd degree again about golf etiquette. We were not holding anyone up, we were not all 6 playing together and based on the actions of this manager and whomever this other person was who would not give his name all 6 of us will never play this course again while that manager is operating it and will make sure to tell everyone we know this same story. It is sad how it can take only one bad apple to spoil a bunch. Fire that Manager and get a Manager who does actually know golf etiquette and your golfers just might return.
We'll play again
Had not been at Indianwood in sometime. Found it to be in real nice condition, albeit the greens had just been punched, but still putted ok. The fairways were excellent, as was the area around the greens. The lakes are so low, that we could not believe it. Need lottsa rain. We'll be back there again.
Thank you for the great comments!! Mother nature has brought several inches of rain the past few weeks and the ponds are filling up fast! Course is in great condition, come back and visit soon!

Very Challenging Course From Blue Tees
Course is worth the drive to Indiantiwn 30 minutes from Palm Beach Gardens or Stuart. They don't seem to have a starter so arrive 15 minutes early and get in line. After 2 holes the pace of play quickens. After 2pm you can play 3-3 1/2 hours. Great course layout. Long, sand, water, trees, and the greens are fair as well as in good shape, makes this a difficult course from the back tees. Well worth the drive snd I play the course for under $20 'Golf Now' but well worth $35-&39 or what ever it is they charge. I golf 4-5 days per week and I typically play good public courses, so give this one a try if you already haven't. Definitely need a tee time.
Thank you for the great comments. During the summer months, our rate is only $19.99, which includes LUNCH!!! No tee times needed, but always recommended.
Indianwood
Terrible shape; took 5.5 hrs to play
There was at least 3 foursomes waiting on every tee.
Apparently, "normal for Tuesday", the starter told us. (If it's always jammed up on Tuesdays, why not leave more time between t-times to accommodate the slow, heavy play?!)
Every lie was "tight". Liked course layout, but in very poor shape. Won't ever play there again......at any price, or day of the week.
I apologize for your experience at our course. Unfortunately Tuesday morning we have leagues play. We have worked on the situation and the flow and pace is much more acceptable now. If you would like to give us another try I think you will see that we have done a lot of work on the conditions of the golf course in the last three years or so and it is in good shape.
Good value and best service!
Get away for the Palm Beaches and play some golf. Worth the drive and the staff is the best. Fun course and the greens were in great shape.
It's no country club
A decent place for the price. Greens were in pretty good shape. It's certainly no country club.
Another bad pairing, then told to "hurry up"
They pair us with 2 players, 15-20 years older, who have to hit from different tees, then have the nerve to tell us we arep laying too slow and don't come in at the turn for food/drink. Now we feel rushed and play worse then before. The older couple we were playing with left after 11th hole as they were so offended and felt too rushed to enyoy their game. Never had a course ranger come and tell my group to speed up play before.
I am sorry about your experience at our course. We are in the heart of the busiest time of the season so if you are a twosome you will most likely be paired with another twosome. We encourage our rangers to ask players to keep an acceptable pace however they should never tell anybody that they are not allowed to come in at the turn. I will work on this situation to make it more enjoyable in the future.
Takes too long to play
Five hours to play this course is unacceptable. We waited on every shot for 18 holes except our putts! (I know, we should have left after nine holes). Ridiculous and no course ranger to move people along, Obviously tee times are too close together. The ProShop smelled so we did not even consider eating the food, The condition of the course was just ok so if you have some to me to waste, this is the course for you.
worth the drive
Staying in palm beach shores it was about a 45 min drive and we all agreed worth the drive. Got a great rate on golf now, and was expecting slow play do to other reviews. We found just the opposite. Played in under 4 hours. Greens were very nice. Course is only 5600 from the white tees, but is a par 70, so plays much longer. A fun layout. Probably only negative is that there are 4 par threes on the back nine. Staff was great very friendly. An easy drive on the bee line hwy from West Palm. Nice course.
Friendly staff
The course has a nice layout but pace of play was horrible the course is only 6000 yards and should only take 31/2 hours to play at the most. From what I can tell with no ranger monitoring play and there being 4 par 3's on the back side which create bottlenecks. The course also let 2 groups tee off on 10 that didn't play the front nine. It took us 90 minutes to play front nine and 3 hours to play the shorter back nine. Will go back if they can correct the issue.
Slow pace
This is usually a great place to play. However this time they apparently stuffed the tee times. It took 50 minutes to play the first 2 holes!!!!! Each hole was at least a 15 minute wait on the tee box. I realize this the season and more players are here, but this was way too many players in too short of time.
Sir, We greatly apologize for your experience that day. It is not our intention to deliver poor service to any of our guests. I would welcome the chance to continue this discussion with you and extend and opportunity to make this right with you group. Please contact me at 772-597-3794
