Slow pace
This is usually a great place to play. However this time they apparently stuffed the tee times. It took 50 minutes to play the first 2 holes!!!!! Each hole was at least a 15 minute wait on the tee box. I realize this the season and more players are here, but this was way too many players in too short of time.
Nice day at Indianwood
Overall, I enjoyed my day at Indianwood. The day was sunny but very windy and this created quite a challenge on some of the holes. Seemed like the wind was in our face for most of the holes. The staff was very friendly and the course was in decent shape. The greens were medium fast but a few holes had dead grass around the rim of the holes.
Pace of play was the biggest issue. It took us over four and a half hours to play 18 holes. The four of us are "decent' golfers and we usually play a four hour round. The price was right with our golf now discount and we agreed we would like to come back again in the future.
worth the drive
Friends had recommended this course do i decided to drive up from North Palm Beach. 40 minute drive. The staff were very friendly from the gentleman who brought my cart to me in the parking lot to the staff in the pro shop to the workers on the course. Everyone waved and said hello and even got a couple tips from one of the guys. The course was in good shape. Can't think of a negative about it. Will definitely be returning.
Indianwood
Great course for price. Fairways are a little close together but not much of an issue. Just keep your eyes and ears open for bad shots!
Beautiful
Great course, excellent value, staff are above and beyond....food upstairs delecious....,greens. Were top dressed a lil heavy but made the most of it.....only thing wrong was they shouldve TOLD US the greens were dressed.
Besides that, a great place to golf
Too bad that it rained.
Indianwood was still mending from a recent aeration when we played it. I would love to go back in afew weeks to play it after it recovers.
Great Value
The Golf and Lunch special is the best deal around. Pleasantly surprised by the upkeep of the course. The greens were a little slow due to recent aeration.
Super IMPROVED
Most people are missing a chance to play a GREAT course that is now in super condition, what a difference from four years ago. Greens are the best in the area I promise and I promise you will not be disappointed. Great value, good t times and a super staff. They could use a new club house but first things first.
Nice course in the middle of no where
We like to travel around and experience different courses & this one took us about 1 hr. 15 mins to get to. Out in the middle of no where but it was a enjoyable day & the course was well kept. Even though the back is shorter by approx. 200 yrds. it was a lot trickier. Can't blame the course for the difference in score from the front 9 to back. I needed to adjust and didn't do a good job. Still, well worth it even though you don't save much on GN from walkin price.
good course excellent price
played here a each time I come to Florida.
one of the best buys around, always fun to play
Nice course in the country
This is a nice course to play, condition was good, course is challenging from the back tees, lots of water
restaurant has very good lunch menu, burgers are great
greens are very nice
love the course but the last two times I played the play time was very slow .I think their are overbooking and the rangers are not moving play along.
Nice greens, slow play!
It is a great deal for the time of season, but expect to wait on every tee box. No starter in the afternoon makes for slow foursomes and random pairs mixed in all over the place. Tee boxes are rough, but the greens are in great condition.
Nice Value
Great Course, convenient well maintained and challenging. Snack Bar great food and super service.
Very good experience
Saw the Indianwood ad in the local paper and decided to give it a try and certainly glad I did. Course was in very good condition overall, My wife and I had lunch before the round and the food was very good. Great couples course. With all the above factors it is no wonder the course is very busy and play is on the slow side even with the rangers. It's a bit out of the way but worth it.
Golf in Indiantown
I've always enjoyed playing here. .. reasonably priced and consistently in great shape. While located in the middle of the state, the breeze remains pretty constant even in the summer. If you can stay for lunch, the restaurant is the best around.
played twice in a week
Played the course on Monday less than four hour round friendly staff and good course conditions on Friday different story as went early ate lunch an had a great burger. Arrived before tee time although no one was waiting the starter told us to come back in a half an hour. This was so two foursomes of ladies could all arrive before teeing off. Went to get practice balls had to pay $8 even after saying it was included with the booking. Course was still in good condition but took too long to play just made it before dusk.
Indianwood golf club
I play out here frequently, the course is under new management and is in the best shape I have ever seen it ! I live in Jupiter, and it's a scenic 30 minute ride, I like getting out of the city, there are no houses lining the fairways, scenery is beautiful, people are friendly, I love coming out here to play ,
And using Golfnow I can get some good deals that enable me to play here and other local courses, where normally I don't play at all during the season :)
fun layout, staff is friendly.
course has improved since we last played. Better turf conditions and upgraded carts.
A hidden gem. A bit remote but great value.
