Interesting and varied hole layout

Very disappointed by this course. Nice layout with lots of potential -- however, the condition of the course was sub-standard. Patchy dirt across many greens. Fairways were rock hard with little real grass making it virtually impossible to take anything resembling a divot. There were lots of sand traps, but they were hard packed dirt. Overall not very well maintained. Lastly the pace of play was agonizing. Every tee we arrived and the previous foursome was still waiting. Much better courses for the same money around. No deals here. Check around, you'll be glad you did.

Good challenge for ball placement and distance.

Excellent day and a pleasure all around. Fairways and tees in great shape. Good selection of tee blocks for all levels. Greens were a bit dry in spots but over-all I'd give them a 4 out of 5. My score would definitely improve after seeing the layout for the first time. I wish the scorecard would have had individual hole layout diagrams. They were displayed on the tees in granite but that's not always enough for first timers. Would have preferred yardage stakes as opposed to flat discs on the fairways. Excellent cart paths. Excellent friendly staff. Great attention to the finer things. Clean washrooms and carts. Ice was provided on the cart. Flags were well designated for green position. Hope to return soon.

Partner and I had a fun time playing the course. Course is in decent shape. Greens rolled well even where they looked a little sparse. Fairways had a big bounce and tees in pretty good shape. Holes had good variety though seemed short from the senior tees.

Got at great "hot deal " rate. It was about 20 miles south of Kissimmee but nice golf community.

We played the Cypress course. The front 9 greens are practically unplayable. We courses don't tell you the conditions of the greens baffles me. We arrived at the bag drop and there was no staff there, someone finally showed up after we had our cart loaded. Maybe we'll try it again after the greens come back.

With this course cut through the marsh, I was able to see and hear birds that I don't ever get to see at the courses that I routinely play.

Nice target golf layout with plenty of trouble.

Don't even think about walking. The distance between some greens and the next tee box is long.

This was an awful bad place to play. Will not go back. The morning started with us and 4 other groups following a guy through a neighborhood for about 8 minutes just to get to the course for a shotgun start on 13. We were paired with a husband and wife. They were very nice but there play was slow. There was no one in front of us and it took 4 hours. we usually play in 2-1/2 hours. The fairways looked like goats mowed them and the greens were all over the place. Some were slow and some fast and some slower. Many of the greens had bare spots and some had holes. The bunkers were not good. The layout was not very good. This was the old Poinciana course. I just can't say much else other than it was awful.

We hate.....HATE cart path only courses! This one was, possibly because of rain the day before, but two of our golfers had extreme difficulty even finishing our 18 because of so much walking. The course is in very good shape except for some spotty greens and it's located in a quaint community with a great little downtown next to the clubhouse, but is way, WAY, out in the sticks. Several fairways are relatively tight, there is lots of water, you do not come back to the clubhouse until you finish 18, and there was no cart girl....on a SATURDAY. Bottom line....we paid $35 but there are LOTS of courses WAY closer in to the metro Orlando area that are in just as good shape, more golfer friendly, and in the $25 dollar range. It was cool to play once but that will be our last time. Oh, and LOTS of gators!

First time playing this course and it was awesome. Seemed like the fairways and greens got better every hole. Would definitely play again!

Loved this course! Best course I've played in this price range so far (two weeks into my stay). Greens were in great shape and the fairways have green grass! Love the layout but bring lots of balls. Will definitely be back.

Nice greens, fast with subtle slopes. Tees and fairways were in good condition. The course is tighter than it looks, if you dont hit the centre of the fairway then you can bounce sideways into trouble. Although there had been a downpour the previous day, the course was fine. Some very strategic water resulting in a most enjoyable challenge.

The course was soft from the previous night's down pour as it was cart path only. thus if you don't hit the ball straight you can have a good deal of walking to do, as was the case. the greens were soft and speeds fairly consistent.

The Cypress is a challenging but playable course. It was our first time playing here and thanks to the starter we were paired with a single member of the club. It would have been a challenge to find our way to some of the holes otherwise. Finished during happy hour and enjoyed a refreshing cold beverage. All staff were pleasant and extremely helpful.
