About
The Cypress Course is one of two 18-hole, championship courses at Stonegate Golf Club at Solovita. The course has a player-friendly layout with ample fairways and bunkers that are large but generally low lipped. There are some challenges that should not be taken too casually though, including sloped, elevated greens that are heavily guarded and water hazards on fourteen holes. The golf course is known for having scenic par-3 holes that are particularly difficult from the back tees. In addition to the two golf courses, Stonegate Golf Club at Solovita offers practice facilities that include a targeted grass driving range, putting green, and practice bunkers.

FAB Course
A great course and fun to play. The holes were not ridiculously long but you did have to put your tee shots in play on the generous fairways to ensure you could make a par or better. I would certainly play this course again.
The cart and starter staff were especially friendly and informative.
Stonegate's Cypress a must play
If you've never been to Stonegate @ Solivita it would be in your best golfing interest to go. A little out of the way In Poinciana but the 2 courses there are A quality. Played Cypress yesterday and although the heat was rough the course was beautiful. Great staff and great course. Can you ask for anything more? Oh yea, a good price for a Sunday morning tee off. Go hit'em there and you won't be disappointed.
Great value just a little work needed.
Overall good round of golf for the money. With a little work on the greens and bunkers, this would rate with some of the best courses in the area. Greens were good but had some wild grass growing on all 18 holes. Changed the roll to much.
Excellent round of golf
Enjoyed this course very much. We playes with two groups of three friends. A warm welcome when we entered the park. Registrated our car at the gate. The course was in great condition. Almost all holes are challenging. Moderate golfers will certainly lose some balls in the water or through the fences that surround some of the fairways. I lost 8 balls! There is more than avarage distance to cover between holes, but with the clean and almost new golfcarts that is no problem at all. We encountered some wildlife: two gators in the water and some nice birds (Cranes, hawks).
I certainly recommend this course.
Quiet tight in places
This is the second time that we have played this course. The first time the pace of play was really slow, so much so that we could finish the 18 holes due to darkness. This time however it was like we had the course to our selves and we zoomed round in just over three hours. We will definitely play this course again especially if another good deal comes along.
Must Play
Excellent condition. It's a must play! Only negative is its overpopulated with alligators!
Nice open fairways
My wife and I played late afternoon.after 2:00 pm. Course was not crowed. A fun course to play. Some water but not an issue.
Excellent course
Great course with plenty of trouble to be had.Tight fairways and plenty of bunkers well placed. Greens were rough on a few holes but would still recommend this course.
18 holes of golf on Stonegate Cypress
Enjoyed the course immensely/ it was in great condition and it was a pleasure playing the 18 holes/would like to try Stonegate Oaks before we go back home.

The only thing I can complain about is that it was a hott day 89 and there was no wind on the fairways because of the high trees on boath sides

Very tight
This was the second time I played this course. I had forgotten how narrow the fairways were, but I soon remembered. Granted I tend to spray the ball a bit but this course is way too narrow for my game. Also many fairways slope towards trouble, just increasing chances of a bad shot. Thr greens were very good however, the best we have played this winter on Florida. Overall I would not play here again but if you hit straight off the tee you may enjoy this course.

I have played in the Orlando area many times but never wandered very far from Disney courses. I didn't know what I was missing. Great course.
No Course Marshall - Slow Pace of Play
Course was in good condition. Problem is we had to play a 5 hour round as there was no Marshall on course. If course can't afford Marshall then at least tell people when they tee off that it will take 5 hours for the round!!!!!

Beautiful course and challenging, pristine condition, take 5 hours 18 homes but a enjoyed complete.
Nice course. A yardage book was not available
The course is very nice. No yardage book was available so several tee shots got us into trouble. Greens were nice for early March. I would play again. Good value for the price. Pace of play was a little slow and the twosome in front of dropped out after 7 holes. We waited on every tee.

Played a few courses in the last 4 Weeks. Stonegate in Solivita is the best.

Enjoyed the round of golf. Saw lots of alligators. Course very well maintained with lots of signage.
Open courses but challing
Beautifull courses that I like to play again. I hop it will be less windy next time.

You must have played Cypress. The Oaks has EXTREMELY wide fairways with little trouble. If anything, the more seasoned golfer might find it to be too easy but for me it was perfect. I would strongly recommend you play the Oaks before concluding that this course is too difficult.
