About
Eaglebrooke, located in Lakeland -- halfway between Orlando and Tampa, is considered one of the premier golf courses in Florida. Its classic links-style design with over 100 feet of elevation change is unique in this part of the state. Natural lakes, abundant with wildlife, can come into play on eleven of the holes creating both spectacular scenery and challenging golf shots. To increase the challenge, there are six sets of tees on each hole. The "seniors" tees were customed designed for the course by architect Ron Garl. Garl requested Senior Golf Magazine to survey seniors for optimal playing preferences and then included these requests in the course design. The atmosphere is first class and the course features bag pick-up at your car. Eaglebrooke was the first course in the US to use Greg Norman's GN 1 grass, the fastest growing and greenest grass available.

Slow pace
I’m sorry but as a 4-some we were stuck behind/caught up to a 2-some on a regular basis to a point where it took 2:40 to complete 9 hole and if we continued to pay it would
Shave been dark by the time we got to the 15th.
As advertised
Really beautiful and well-maintained course. Very friendly staff. A good mix of challenging and straigh-forward holes. Lots of birdie opportunities with the wide fairways.
Beautiful course and a great challenge
Everything was as expected lots of challenge and lots of wildlife. I would recommend it to everyone!
One of my favorites
Played 12-17-24
Course is in EXCELLENT shape from tee to green.
This track has some great holes. Some shortish par 4’s that provide scoring opportunities if you can find the fairway. And trouble abound if you don’t, it’s a great challenge. And fun to play.
Fast greens, great course layout and challenging par 4 and 5’s. Good practice area nice clubhouse. Lots of doglegs around water.

Chip in birdie and chip in par…played one of my best rounds here.
Fast Greens
Cold and windy day. Greens were perfect and fast. The weather likely caused a lot less people to play that day.
Beautiful Course
Beautiful course just a little pricey for the early tee times but the afternoon deal was worth it. Course will be closing in April to redo the greens so I’m sure prices will be even higher after they reopen.
Great course! Play is a little slow…
Great course, great amenities and staff! Conditions were really good too! Pace was a little slow though. Most likely because it’s a difficult course. Overall, excellent experience!
1st timer
I'm a new Florida resident and very much enjoyed my round. They paired me with a threesome who were familiar with the course, and we all had a fun afternoon of golf.
Regulars need a lesson in golf etiquette
Only group on course a foursome. When the only other twosome on course. On your tail 5 holes.
Regulars....... Let's us through!!! Had to skip a hole or would have been a 5 hour round for one group holding us up.
Challenging course would play again.
First time
Golf was great
It was kinda cheesy they charge 6.00 for small bucket and they make you hit from guest tees
No signage to do so so he made me get back in cart to hit balls there
A little embarrassing since there were a total of 4 people on the range
Just charge a couple bucks on price and let people hit a few balls
