About
Links of Sandpiper in Lakeland offers a traditional links layout that sprawls across rolling terrain. The course is player friendly enough for players of all skill levels to enjoy but it has enough challenges for more advanced players as well. The course is anything but flat, and the ups and downs are the most challenging element you'll encounter. The small, undulating greens and narrow landing areas off of the fairways demand accuracy. Combined with elevation changes and strategically placed bunkers, proper club selection and course management also play important roles. Picking the right lines from the tees into the greens requires careful thought. You'll face a few blind shots thanks to the rolling terrain and there are also several bunkers strategically placed along the greensides. Links of Sandpiper's final four holes are the toughest stretch.

Get what you pay for
The course layout was good and challenging at times, but the condition is lacking. Poor fairways and some greens are in need of work.
Left after hole 12
I’ve never left a course mid-round, but the pace grinded to a halt on the back 9. When we approached the 13th hole and we were the third group waiting on the tee, with the group behind us approaching, we made the collective decision to cut our losses and leave. Pacing for almost a 6 hour round. The staff inside was friendly, admitted how poor the pace can be, and that they could use a course Marshall. Overall, wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t return. Pay the extra money, drive a little further and go to Eaglebrooke.

Good course , don’t honor booking fee
If you book on line they don’t honor the booking fee
You get what you pay for
One of the cheaper rates around but you get what you pay for. This course is in rough shape though the greens are pretty well kept. Hitting off the dirt and incredibly tight lies seems like the norm. The front 9 layout is nice but the back 9 is tight but very short.

Don’t honor booking fee
Everything went well except when you book through this site the 10:00 they say will be taken off at the course isn’t. It’s pay the extra ten bucks or don’t play senseless to use this site just call course

Last time
8:45 tee time for 2 people. Put a 5 some in front of us. 5 hrs for a round of golf is unacceptable. Starter not allowing any back 9 starts. I’ll take my money elsewhere. Be glad when the snowbirds leave!!!

Helmets requiref
Greens are good, could be VG if mowed and rolled.
Holes 14-18 are too tight together. Balls coming at you from any and all directions. I would say that less experienced golfers go to less expensive courses….staff were very nice, very helpful.

Double booked and then canceled. Been using Golf Now for years. Will never use again. Already Uninstaller app.

3RD TIME PLAYING. I KNOW ITS FLORIDA AND FOR A VALUE COURSE YOU WILL FIND THESE CONDITIONS. I LET IT GET TO ME. MAYBE WHEN I PLAY AGAIN IT MIGHT BE BETTER. GREENS WERE A LITTLE SLOWER THAN PREVIOUS ROUNDS. FAIRWAYS COULD USE A LITTLE MORE WATER

Not well maintained
The course was not maintained. The layout is a bit tight. Staff was good, and pace of play was ok. Looks like it could be a decent course if it were maintained.

Golf Now Sucks
My son got tee time first as a guest on golf now. He had wrong time so I got tee time through golf now and told him to cancel. Both our tee times got canceled. Lost a total of $17 just on their bull fees. Found out they double booked at the course. There use to be savings and convenience going through Golf Now. I will never use them again.
