Was paired up with 2 guys and had a great round. Tee time was 8 AM got right out. Boxes and greens in nice condition greens ran well. Not fast but not slow. A couple of bare spots on fairway but assume that is par for the course this time of year. In totality was very well kept up. Guy in pro shop was nice and ad an enjoyable round.

Really enjoyed this round of golf. The staff members were friendly and helpful. We started behind two slower players, it appeared that one was helping his buddy learn the game (we were all there once), but after waiting for a while we went by to let them know that we were going on ahead and starting on hole 2, they were good with that. The course is in good shape, the tee boxes were good but the greens were excellent, there are fairway areas where the grass is sparse but overall I was very pleased. I like the layout; though some fairways are narrow. Definitely recommend this course.

This is the best course around for the money. The greens are always in great shape. The course holds water better than any Florida course around here. Yes, a few of the fairways on the back are pretty bad. They are constantly trying to fix. It does play a little slow at times. This is mostly due to the front being short. If you drive the ball 260+, you will probably wait some. Anyone saying the greens are bad are just lying. Some people are just unrealistic. They want to pay $30 and expect high end golf.

Greens were good, traps fair and fairways were sparse on several holes.

Greens and Fairways were in great shape. Cart paths need allot of work. Hole 16 is brutal. Tee boxes could use some loving. All in all my son snd I had a good time. Ps to many holes with blind shots. One hole a ball hit the top of my cart while we were sitting in it.

The course itself is decent. The greens were in very good shape. My disappointment with the course was the fact that the front 9 was closed due to maintenance. This fact was not flagged when I booked the round and the staff member in the pro shop had no explanation. He also stated that the back 9 was to be closed the following day so I checked GolfNow but there was still no flag. I’ve had experience with this course failing to flag events before as I booked one time and arrived to find our tee time fell during a tournament or a league we and were 45 minutes late starting our round that time. I like the course but will contact them prior to booking in the future.

I first played this course in 2006. The best description was a cow pasture. Since the new owner took over, his mission has been to make this a playable yet challenging course, which he has done!

He has changed the course to be more playable, and with less wait times except, of course, at peak times.

I'd make one suggestion, especially to those who were the most critical of the course conditions...fix your divots and ball marks!

And for those who don't like the layout, I love it! Its a challenge to have to drive your ball to a difficult fairway placement to have a shot at the green. That's golf!

My 3rd suggestion is for those who think they're good enough to play the championship tees - you probably aren't that good. How do I know? I've played behind you. You're holding the rest of us up.

Sorry for all the venting. They've done wonders with this course and it's well worth playing! I should know, I drive all the way from s Tampa and my partner drives from Oviedo.

The course appea5s to be continually changing due to land grabs for building new homes. Only good thing was the greens. They were the best I have played on all year. Will not return to this course anytime soon.

Nice layout with challenging lay ups and penalties for errant shots. Greens getting better.

I always enjoy this course. The layout is perfect for old guys like me and yet challenges some of the better players, The greens are in very good shape,better than some of the other local courses and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I will play here as often as I can ,specially in the summer when is not too crowded.

I’ve held off posting a review until I played the course a few times. Every time I’ve play this course I remember why. The course management, is very poor greens are in terrible shape. The fairways are covered in crab grass. And lastly the pace of play between the members to the over booker tee times gets out of hand. Definitely go to a better course and play where they care about the course and the players experience.

the greens are in fantastic shape, staff is awesome. Had probley the best fish fry since i left WNY ever.

I’ve played here a ton. It’s descent but needs some love. Please fix the par 5 along the road. It makes no sense and is in awful shape . . the greens are in good shape but need more work. . A few tee boxes need work but overall not bad. I prefer here over the other cheaper courses In Lakeland. For the rate it’s worth playing. Just don’t have big expectations .

We have played this course many times but it has been 1 month since we visited. I usually brag to others that the course is always in good shape but I am disappointed to say that the course was not in very good shape. The tee boxes are tough and fringe around the greens is getting covered with a lot of tiny white flowers.

Back nine very interesting first time out. Lots of hidden hazards, but a fun time

Greens was in great condition. Some construction going on but don’t really effects play.
