About
Links of Sandpiper in Lakeland offers a traditional links layout that sprawls across rolling terrain. The course is player friendly enough for players of all skill levels to enjoy but it has enough challenges for more advanced players as well. The course is anything but flat, and the ups and downs are the most challenging element you'll encounter. The small, undulating greens and narrow landing areas off of the fairways demand accuracy. Combined with elevation changes and strategically placed bunkers, proper club selection and course management also play important roles. Picking the right lines from the tees into the greens requires careful thought. You'll face a few blind shots thanks to the rolling terrain and there are also several bunkers strategically placed along the greensides. Links of Sandpiper's final four holes are the toughest stretch.

Great Service
I always enjoy going there. The staff are always accomodating and the course is pretty good. Hole 16 needs some work but other than that it is a fun place to go spend the day.

Great Service
The course is good....not wow but good. Greens always roll well and some really cool holes but the best part of going there is really the staff. Kevin is always great to talk to and the starter is awesome. Never found anyone grumpy at this course.

Priced right
For the $ during “in season”, this is ok. Greens were decent, fairways not great and some back 9 holes were just silly. Too many holes are on top of each other, surprised we didn’t get hit by a ball but we came close as this course attracts a lot of beginners. We’d rather pay more for a better course.

Old Guy Golfin!
Greens and tee boxes were excellent. Fairways were in good shape. Pace of play was a bit slow buy we were a twosome so that has a bit to do with it. Not a long course but green are small which makes it a bit more challenging.
