About
Links of Sandpiper in Lakeland offers a traditional links layout that sprawls across rolling terrain. The course is player friendly enough for players of all skill levels to enjoy but it has enough challenges for more advanced players as well. The course is anything but flat, and the ups and downs are the most challenging element you'll encounter. The small, undulating greens and narrow landing areas off of the fairways demand accuracy. Combined with elevation changes and strategically placed bunkers, proper club selection and course management also play important roles. Picking the right lines from the tees into the greens requires careful thought. You'll face a few blind shots thanks to the rolling terrain and there are also several bunkers strategically placed along the greensides. Links of Sandpiper's final four holes are the toughest stretch.

Good day, good time
I was a single golfer placed with 3 others that booked on
the same site that I used.
I enjoyed their company and the day.
Too Busy
Had to quit after 12, there were far too many on the path waiting...2 sets of 5 and one of 7 ranger is needed.
Other than that course is great

Never play here
There were mutable groups of 5, I ask the pro shop after 4 holes to address this & was told these guys are every week & they play fast.. I can assure you they do NOT play fast. This place is a complete joke!

Not a pleasant experience
First tee crowded with several foursomes ahead of us although when we booked the previous day , it showed several open tee times around us.. I can only assume that several members decided to show up due to the excellent weather.. After finishing 4 holes in one hour and 20 minutes, my wife and I walked off the course. Never to return

Good Course but tight.
Overall this course is good, the narrow fairways and close houses makes this a course for a little more experienced players. Some holes had a funny layout, great pace of play. Would recommend and play again.

Great Service
I always enjoy going there. The staff are always accomodating and the course is pretty good. Hole 16 needs some work but other than that it is a fun place to go spend the day.
