About
Big Cypress Golf Club is part of a gated golf retirement community called Cypress Lakes. Conveniently located between Orlando and Tampa, the club offers two golf courses, the North and the South. The South Course is a championship layout that is more challenging than the executive-length North Course. Both courses are characterized by the abundance of water and swaying palms, offering the best of Florida golf. The South Course plays a long 6,680 yards from the back tees. The course presents a more demanding test than the North, appealing to more advanced players. Florida Golfer and Senior Golfer have recognized its challenging layout for its excellent conditions and design. Maintenance is a top priority at Big Cypress; on both courses the well manicured fairways and greens are consistently in good shape.

This course is a gem and the BEST value I have found in this area of Florida. The fairways and tee boxes were in great shape. The greens held shots, rolled true, and were quick. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even though it was layer in the day and they were booked solid. I wish I could have come back and played again before going home. Don't miss this fun and interesting course!!

I was impress by the conditions and the green and a lots of water and big gator

Played as a foursome. Course was in great condition. Greens were slick and maybe a bit firm. Beautiful challenging layout with lots of wildlife. Primarily a community members course, we were made welcome by the friendly staff and members alike. Public carts could use an upgrade. Most residents have their own carts. All in all a great experience. Will definitely be back!

Best course I have played in Orlando so far. Everything about the course was excellent. Will definitely play again. It is worth the long drive
Awesome
A little out of the beaten path but well worth it. Mostly Locals but the Ranger Carl was able to keep everyone moving in a respectful way, mint Guy. Course was in great shape and Greens were amazing.. price was amazing could not of had a better day. Plus game was good lol.
