Plantation Palms Golf Club
About
Plantation Palms Golf Club, designed by David Harman, provides every Tampa golfer with a challenging and rewarding golf experience. The links-style design starts with a welcoming par 5, and then slowly steps up with a mixture of strong par 3s. Just 10 minutes north of Tampa, this course was carved a 400-acre citrus grove that slopes from west to east, providing interesting elevation changes. Water is in play on 17 of 18 holes. Plantation Palms Golf Club has an attractive framing of greens by the use of pine trees, water and large snow-white sand traps. The true-rolling elevated greens have good movement and are a challenge for golfers.

As Usual- Great
This course is always good and today was no exception. All as it should be and a pleasure. Note: Golfers, fix your ballmarks on the greens, eh? We all like 'em true.
1st Time Fun
I thought Platation Palms was a fun layout with very robust amenities. The staff was excellent from the pro shop to the grill/bar area. The pace of play could be improved. The condition of the course was very good but people need to fix their ball marks. I must have repaired dozens of them on my round. Overall, a very fun experience.
Decent course good value
Nice variation in holes some elevated greens and dog legs in both directions.
Traps needed more sand, greens are a little slower than I expected since they were Tiffeagle Bermuda.
Very friendly staff, I play here again since it was a good value for the money
Decent course.
Course had a nice driving range and practice putting green. People there are very friendly, The course was in decent shape, and they were a variety of holes with some elevated greens and dog legs in both directions... Not a lot of out and back holes which is great.
The greens were slower than I expected but not real slow, held well but had lots of ball marks. The brakes on the carts were terrible and barely stopped them and I found the GPS yardage on the cart was up to 10 yards different than my laser.
At the end of the day for the money, it was a decent value and I would play there again.
Everything very good
Course played nice. Greens fast, but with more divots, unfortunately. Peoples, please repair your green divot-
mark; it's a good feeling to have to, yes?
Great Course
Friendly staff and a great course in almost perfect condition.
Fun 9
Front 9 in good shape and pretty fast play without a rush from behind.
They wouldn’t allow me to play
They wouldn’t allow me to play due to a scheduled golf outing. Don’t understand why GN took my tee time. Showed up and was turned away. I’m done with your company
Tough course for first time
Course is fair but tough for a first time there good thing i played with experienced people who have played there
If it were a little closer, I'd go more often
I got paired up with an experienced older gentleman and a young dude that was new to game. They were very pleasant to be with on an otherwise quiet peaceful round. The layout is not like I remembered it being the last time I played. What this course has going for it mostly is that it's got all the "right stuff", the practice areas, auto ball dispenser, a putt putt area, chipping area, clean restrooms, great staff and pricing that is sensible, and carts that are in good condition. The fairways were great and the greens really fast on this day. I have no bad things to say about it and want to get out there again soon.
