About
Plantation Palms Golf Club, designed by David Harman, provides every Tampa golfer with a challenging and rewarding golf experience. The links-style design starts with a welcoming par 5, and then slowly steps up with a mixture of strong par 3s. Just 10 minutes north of Tampa, this course was carved a 400-acre citrus grove that slopes from west to east, providing interesting elevation changes. Water is in play on 17 of 18 holes. Plantation Palms Golf Club has an attractive framing of greens by the use of pine trees, water and large snow-white sand traps. The true-rolling elevated greens have good movement and are a challenge for golfers.

Great course
The course is always in great condition. The staff is always friendly. The greens are in great condition but very fast. It’s a wonderful challenge.
Ended up getting behind a bachelor party that wasn’t really interested in golfing
Course was in good condition. Did need to get a Ranger out there to help out with the slow play would play again.
Hot day at Plantation
Hot day but it was a good round. Some watering stations would a nice addition for the hot months ahead.
Great track!
Very nice first impression. Challenging yet scorable course. Tees to greens all in good condition. Nice facilities. Friendly folks. Made a birdie on 8 and holed a 65 yard lob to save a par on the back 9. Will definitely be back to play this course.
It’s Florida golf
Water left, housing development right. Over and over. Some mounds around the greens make things moderately more interesting but none of it is all that inspiring.
Slow Play
Like this course layout and the greens were in good shape. The pace of play was awful. Just over 5 hours for our foursome…Slow play on this course ruins the experience.
5 Hour Round
Greens were goood and fairways were average. Fist value for price of it wasn’t for the 5 hour round. Not sure Inwould play it again due to pace of play.
Plantation Palm is dry
As the staff is friendly but the pro shop is misguided in the aspect of having singles go out behind 2 and threesomes. Look at your tee sheet and pair people up. As I was invited to play with the threesome we waited on the two some. Have a ranger. As for the course the fairways and tee boxes were completely dry and it’s mid April. Absolutely nothing excuse not to have it lush. N no ore to head groundskeeper, water in the fertilizer that you left on top on the greens so your patrons have a true roll. Unfortunately I won’t play again, it’s a nice track but mismanaged.
Nice course lay out
Everything about the course is very good. Sand traps could use more sand. I feel the price is a little steep for morning and afternoon rounds. Maybe they will drop when we get closer to the summer months.

plantation palms is a good course. a mix of holes, some easy others challenging.
greens were in great shape, fairways a bit thin and dry but normal for Florida.
Angelina on the beverage cart makes the day enjoyable no matter how you're playing.
will definitely play PP next time in Tampa Bay.
Excellent layout and course conditions
I’ve played this course numerous times and have never seen this course in better shape. Staff are courteous and each time I visit I look forward to my return. Greens are great and the layout provides a serious challenge to golfers.
