About
Plantation Palms Golf Club, designed by David Harman, provides every Tampa golfer with a challenging and rewarding golf experience. The links-style design starts with a welcoming par 5, and then slowly steps up with a mixture of strong par 3s. Just 10 minutes north of Tampa, this course was carved a 400-acre citrus grove that slopes from west to east, providing interesting elevation changes. Water is in play on 17 of 18 holes. Plantation Palms Golf Club has an attractive framing of greens by the use of pine trees, water and large snow-white sand traps. The true-rolling elevated greens have good movement and are a challenge for golfers.

Good layout but had to say something
Been playing here for years and the course is designed nicely, a couple of challenging holes. However, the price to golf has doubled recently and course quality/amenities remain the same. No ball washers or water coolers on the carts or anywhere around the course. Seen a dozen cart girls come and go as well. They’ve been stacking tee times shorter and shorter. Ranger will ride around and tell you to “hurry up” when groups are walking off the green. Prepare for your round to go over 4 hours easily, regardless of how fast you can play.
Te greens were rolling very nice. The rest of the course was so so. It was very windy and tough to keep balls from rolling in the water.
Quit after 13 holes
Round started off good fairways greens in good condition, starter harped on pace of play, tee off at 9:24 no ranger quit after 13 holes after 4 hrs

I was single and joined up with some great folks. Course was in great shape. Fast greens. Beautiful course. Fair course.
Love - Hate Relationship
I love this course bout it hates me.
Fast greens, decent grass in fairways for this time of year. Got held up on pace of play, but it’s that time of year. I love this course.
Cold and windy day
Always a fun course to play. The staff is always helpful and friendly to your needs
Playing The Game
Course is nice and in good if not great shape. Price is to high unless you use the app and get a good deal. I also played there last Saturday but was unable to finish 18 holes due to the play being slow in front of me about 3 groups deep.
Challenging but enjoyable golf round
The course was in vert good condition and the golf carts are new and have an updated GPS system which only allows your to travel in certain areas. It's a bit frustrating at first, but it's the best way to manage the environmental areas and keep the course in good condition.
Great Course
Everyone was friendly except the person in the pro shop. I gave it 5 stars because everyone else was friendly except the person in the pro shop who acted like he was doing us a favor to check us in. Everyone else was so nice that the course deserved 5 stars. The course is interesting, well designed, large but difficult greens so you better be on your game, but the ball rolled true! It was a pleasure playing there and I would like to go back again
Great as Usual - Cart Path Only
Great shape as always. Would be reasonable, however, to disclose that it's "cart path" only prior to when arriving at the starter so that people can make informed decisions.
