Fun executive course
This is a great little course. Fairways and greens were outstanding. Rough isn’t overseeded but still nice enough to hit it of. Would definitely come back again. For the money it’sa great deal, just as fun of a course as Augusta Ranch right down the road but for less than half the price!
Nice course
The course had a nice layout and the greens were well kept. But things tend to back up at certain holes. We didn’t mind waiting but the several groups behind us had made complaints against us and we were not the ones holding things up. We were waiting just like them. Made it unpleasant and was not a fun time but a race to the next hole
We’ll kept compared to 4 other courses we golfed. Greens were well kept
The only negative was you had to stand in line after playing to have a cocktail, we went somewhere else instead
Average course with views of the Superstition mountains
The course was in good but not great condition. The layout is decent. We played the 4 Peaks and Superstition 9s. There is a range and separate chipping and putting greens.
The staff was not very friendly and gave no directions regarding where to get the carts, where our first tee was or where to get range balls.
Great course
Course was in great shape. We will be back in the near future for sure.
Playing partners
This course usually rates a 5 from me but on this day, the round was a bit tainted by our playing partners. My husband and I were twosome. I understand that the course needs to pair us up with others and I dont even mind being paired with two men. However, one of the men never shut up during the entire 18 holes. He would talk while others were swinging- he just never stopped talking. I can't blame the golf course but it wasn't the most pleasant round
There was a mixed twosome in front of us. Sure wish we could have played with them.
Cool
Considering the rain in the a.m., the course was in good shape. Greens and tee boxes were dry; fairway a little soiggy but not bad at all. Always enjoy playing here. the staff is always friendly
Friendly
The personnel in the clubhouse were friendly and cooperative.
VERY slow play!
First off the staff were very friendly. The course appeared to be in very good shape. It was nice to hit balls on a range with grass tees. After this it was down hill. First off the course was very busy. There was no starter. I would think a course this busy would have a starter. I teed off on the San Tan course. I was paired with a twosome who was late getting to the first tee. I had to call the pro shop to find out if they had checked in. Finally they show up a few minutes past my scheduled tee time. They tell me that they play slow because they are not good golfers. In the meantime I needed to let the foursome behind me play through because they were late. Because there was a league playing in front of the group that was playing in front of me it was very slow play. To play 3 holes it took almost an hour. Once getting to the 4th tee box the last group of the league was just walking up to the tee box and the group ahead of me and my three some were waiting. I took another 15 minutes before my group was able to tee off. I ended my round there. Because it was now 1:45 which was an hour since starting my round. At this rate my round was going to easily be over 5 hours long. I went into the pro shop to complain but they were very busy so I left. It asks to rate the course layout but with only playing 3 holes it's difficult to rate that. I understand that this is Arizona and courses are busy. This is why a course needs starters and a ranger to attempt to speed up play.
Slow play, no marshal
Course is in nice shape. Only negative was we as a 4 some had a 3 some in front of us that we had to wait on at every shot. No Marshal to get them moving!
