Ibis Spring 2025
Well conditioned with very good greens. However, several hour glass are designed sloping severely front to back. Holding shots isn’t possible- even with spin. Housing construction is massive, so expect noise and wind blown dust on several holes.
Continues to be a first-class golf course
Since this course's resurrection as Ibis Landing it continues to be one of the best in the area. Fairways and greens are consistently exceptional. And it's one of the more interesting layouts in Southwest Florida.
My only criticism is that the tee boxes on 14 should be moved forward a bit. The forced carry exceeds what the player of that level can reasonably do for each tee box.
Poor pace of play
The round took 5 hours. We waited on every shot. Never saw a ranger. The monitor kept showing that we were getting further behind but no one did anything about it. The group ahead of us were poor golfers and didn't seem to care about the backup behind them.
Won't be back.
Love this course
We play Ibis a lot since our friends now live there and we live 25 minutes away. We are in our seventies so too late to relocate so hope we can continue to play here on our winter home away from home.
Fantastic!
I play Ibis Landing close to weekly. It is always in fabulous condition, challenging, but playable. The staff is great!
I highly recommend if you are in SW Florida!
Great layout
Course layout is great, with many risk/reward options. Green size is fantastic and receptive. Only green critique would be difficulty seeing incredibly subtle breaks and roll was almost always pure. Craziest driving range I’ve seen; hitting into/over a lake. A lot of construction around the area. Course will be beautiful once it’s completed.
Unnecessarily Difficult
I'm no pro, but I'm also no where near a beginner and this is the hardest course layout if you include insane pin locations on fast green. The staff was very friendly and range balls were included in the round. The starter was also very helpful. This course is worth a play for the experience, but make sure you bring plenty of extra golf balls.
Ibis Landing
A number of short holes, so some “target golf” needed. Greens were very fast down hill. Water hazards are trouble if you don’t hit a fairly straight ball.
Great Course
Well maintained, fast greens, cart girl comes around, and snack bar
I will be back!!
On a yearly trip to southwest Florida, I found this course to be beautiful, challenging and inviting. The Pace of play was concerning...almost a five-hour round on a Tuesday mid-morning. There is clubhouse construction going on, however there should be many more options for breakfast and lunch for a golf course that is charging a first-class price. I will try this course again next year, because the layout is outstanding.
Up until the torrential rain everything was fine. Rained out after 6 holes.
Course is ok if you’re in a pinch to play
It’s an ok course for the price. Lots of construction going on so it’s not peaceful or a course you can concentrate on while playing.
