About
Lake Worth Beach Golf Club borders the Intracoastal Waterway for just over a mile. There is no shortage of scenic courses in south Florida but this one still manages to stand out. Many of the holes run parallel to the Intracoastal, offering beautiful views and a cooling breeze. The golf course has a classic Florida layout. At just over 6,100 yards, it is not a long course but it still manages to feel like one. There is strategic bunkering along the greensides and water hazards come into play on a few holes. With generous fairways and no forced carries, it is accommodating enough for a range of skill levels but it still offers a fair challenge. The golf course offers a quick and challenging round for more advanced players but gentle enough for beginners.

Great view off the intercoastal
For the value you can't beat the views and vibes off their intercoastal. You're not gonna have the best manicured fairways or the fastest greens but it's definitely worth the price and a regular part of my rotation. Highly recommended.

Super course, first time visiting….
Other than some slow play at times in the front 9, back moved much better. A bunch of different tee options and I was able to find one that worked for me.
They are doing some work on the patio outside the restaurant. The clubhouse / bathrooms were nicer than many others I’ve seen.
Did not check out the restaurant. If I had more economic means I’d give serious thought to their membership.

Much improved and always fun
I have played LW municipal several times a year over many years and this is the best condition I have seen this course in. A few greens are still a little patchy but they have improved greatly. For those who expect country clubs conditions and rate this course poorly, join a CC. This is a municipal course and plays well with an amazing backdrop of the LWB intercoastal.

The course is along the intercontinental and has many attractive viiews. Nice place to play. Would recommend.

Goat Track
Stay Away. Playing here is not worth the money at all. It should honestly be free. The tee boxes are uneven, bumpy, patchy. The fairways are okay at best. Most greens are rock hard with patches on most. The cart paths are brutal. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.
Decent course for the moneyj
booked via “golf now” for a decent price in April. Wide open layout. played from the “green” tees - players in the 70s. Greens in decent shape - fairways could be better. Not too many hazards. Wind could be a factor as course borders Intracoastal. Friendly staff, nice little bar and eatery. would play again.

Intracoastal Gem
What a lovely track for four senior friends to spend an afternoon together playing golf. Tees and fairways OK; greens very good. Wide open so you can spray your drives around with impunity. Refreshing views and breezes crop up throughout the round.

Very Enjoyable Round
Great layout, old Florida course. Wide fairways with just enough water and sand to make play challenging. Outstanding value and friendly staff. We will be back soon!
