About
Lake Worth Beach Golf Club borders the Intracoastal Waterway for just over a mile. There is no shortage of scenic courses in south Florida but this one still manages to stand out. Many of the holes run parallel to the Intracoastal, offering beautiful views and a cooling breeze. The golf course has a classic Florida layout. At just over 6,100 yards, it is not a long course but it still manages to feel like one. There is strategic bunkering along the greensides and water hazards come into play on a few holes. With generous fairways and no forced carries, it is accommodating enough for a range of skill levels but it still offers a fair challenge. The golf course offers a quick and challenging round for more advanced players but gentle enough for beginners.

Good municipal course
Played here once. Ok condition throughout. Not as picturesque as some of the courses in the area. Cheap & cheerful with pretty good greens.

This course is great for all caliber of players
I love this course because the front tee-off distances allow me to play at my level of skill and strength. Also, the scenery is beautiful and the breeze cools us along the way. Some greens are in top shape, while others need TLC.

Decent course, but pretty wet after rain.
Course does not drain well, so try to play when it has not rained. Staff were pleasant, course in decent shaoe. Getting something to eat at the turn as a bit of a challenge, no prepared sandwhichs, so unless you like hot dogs, you are out of luck. Nice that you can see the intercostal waterway from 3 or 4 holes, maybe more.
Overall, I would play it again since it was priced well at the time, and pace of play was decent.

Conditions are fairly poor but what do you expect for $42 very wet poor drainage and extremely slow play what do you expect of course town owned course so no Municipal employees care
