Lake Worth Beach Golf Club borders the Intracoastal Waterway for just over a mile. There is no shortage of scenic courses in south Florida but this one still manages to stand out. Many of the holes run parallel to the Intracoastal, offering beautiful views and a cooling breeze. The golf course has a classic Florida layout. At just over 6,100 yards, it is not a long course but it still manages to feel like one. There is strategic bunkering along the greensides and water hazards come into play on a few holes. With generous fairways and no forced carries, it is accommodating enough for a range of skill levels but it still offers a fair challenge. The golf course offers a quick and challenging round for more advanced players but gentle enough for beginners.

A great icebreaker for snowbirds

The staff are friendly and accommodating. What I enjoyed most is being on the intracoastal waterway, playing on a fun course and not breaking the bank to play. Yes, there are courses that you may come from and be cursing at after playing but this is not one of them. I think that the mid handicap golfer will have a great time here.

Pretty Prime track

This course is sneaky tough. Seems flat and straight forward but it has some pretty difficult shots. The greens were in great shape. The bunkers were nice too. Fairways a little rough in spots but for the price it’s a good deal. A lot of straight holes, only a few doglegs, but with the wind and difficult grass it’s definitely challenging.

do not let you drive the cart by yourself unless you pay 20,00 extra. not good considering the pandemic and florida has high numbers for covid 19 how can you social distant with someone you dont know in your cart with you. this shlould not be allowed you should be allowed your owncart to stay safe and social distant

never play here again with those rules not safe especially for older golfers

Play here a lot over the past 5 years

If today was first I would never go back

Had 1:44 tee time, didn’t tee off till 2:30 due to lack of carts

We went in and switched to 9 holes and lady behind desk very understanding and let us switch to 9

I understand that COVID I’d causing issues on all courses with carts.

Good course for a quick round of golf

The best feature of the course is that I was able to play 18 holes in less than 3 hours. No significant hazards. Sand traps and a few water hazards are the only things keeping you from having a really low round.

Booked course for $38. Was told at course a surcharge of $20 would be charged if I chose to ride alone. Due to covid19 concerns I did not want ride with a partner. Booking would not have been made if Teeoff were more upfront about course surcharges.
