Lake Worth Beach Golf Club

It’s a gem worth visiting for two reasons; the staff is friendly and accommodating and the course is fun from any tee box. I love to play the forward tees which enables me to get a respectable score but at the same time be challenged. There are many opportunities for a birdie. I’ve always found the pace of play to be normal with very few waits. It’s just minutes from my home and minutes from the beach. Play 18 and then off to Bennies On the Beach!

The course is close to where we live. Great outside dining overlooking #1 t-box. And the intercostal facing palm beach.

Have played here several times. Each time course conditions gets better.

It’s a wonderful course. Yes, it needs a little TLC, but it’s a jem. I didn’t use any of the practice facilities. Tee boxes to greens are in good shape. I didn’t end up in one trap (OMG!), but they looked a little like packed sand. But in their defense the region has been inundated recently with rain. The front fairways seemed to have a bent grass hybrid, and the were occasionally spotty. The back appeared to be all bermuda. The greens were all bermuda. If there was one downside it would be the greens are a little soft, even spongie. Some chips would never have held normal greens, but they did here. Putting speeds were a little inconsistent. But it never deterred from the round. Another thing I noticed was that the ocean and bay breezes definitely come into play. And the Southern Florida wildlife abounds. All in all l loved the course. Short but wonderful.

I course was in getting condition than I thought with all the rain recently. The fairways were in good shape, the pace of play was good and the greens as the day went on became faster.

Starter knows I’m on my own so he let me go out before big group. Got lost because I was not paying attention to the course sign and ended up playing 8 instead of 2. Seen a lot of people playing back 9 as well yet manage to finish round within 3 hours with minimal waiting time. Few Standing water on some fairways and bunkers after days of raining in the area but did not affect much of my play at that time.

I play this course at least 4 times a year. It is now in great shape.

I am glad because it has always been a great course although maintenance has varied through the years.

Right now it is as good as I have ever seen it.

Nice easy course.average fairways but it’s a fair deal considering the price.Great views of the intercostal. Lots of iguanas too lol

Course is in good shape . Considering the weather we have had of late this course is in good shape. Playing again tomorrow

Enjoyed playing here course was great, loved all the views of the bay, will play again.

Really liked the course layout next to the inner coastal waterway. Out bound nine going south and In bound nine going north. Holes were well spaced and course was somewhat challenging, especially when the wind was into your face. Sometimes made a 2 club difference into the wind.

The real disappointment was their greens. They had been aerated with the holes not filled with sand which made putting very, very difficult and not very true. Greens were extremely slow. Also most of the lies on the fairway were very tight lies as grass was very sparse in several locations.

Matt and his staff of friendly and helpful employees do an excellent job of providing a high levels of customer satisfaction. Joe and his staff of professionals at Bright Way provide a course that is well maintained and fun to play. The staff in the restaurant, and especially the daytime bartender, provide an welcoming atmosphere and great food at very fair prices.

The golfing experience at Lake Worth is very pleasant with great views of the lake. Hard to beat for the price!
