About
Lake Worth Beach Golf Club borders the Intracoastal Waterway for just over a mile. There is no shortage of scenic courses in south Florida but this one still manages to stand out. Many of the holes run parallel to the Intracoastal, offering beautiful views and a cooling breeze. The golf course has a classic Florida layout. At just over 6,100 yards, it is not a long course but it still manages to feel like one. There is strategic bunkering along the greensides and water hazards come into play on a few holes. With generous fairways and no forced carries, it is accommodating enough for a range of skill levels but it still offers a fair challenge. The golf course offers a quick and challenging round for more advanced players but gentle enough for beginners.

The course is in poor condition
Staff is friendly, but we had to wait at the first tee for 3 foursomes to tee off and we waited on every shot the entire round. The couple we played with left in the middle of the back nine because they couldn’t stand the conditions and the waiting.
Good time
We really enjoyed our round. This was our first time at this course we were teamed up with 2 other golfers. Guy and Paul were very friendly and helpful. Thanks for your generosity.
Tee boxes were sandy. Greens slow. Some of the cups were damaged and looked like they had not moved in two days. Pace of play great
Course is in horrible condition - Wait to Play!
Honestly, my friend and I debated making a fuss before we left, as the course was in terrible condition (which we documented) and we were not forewarned of the work being done. We could have spent $70 on a course in much better condition. The honking of construction trucks mid swing and stares from workers shoveling all over the course was unnerving. The only reason why we didn't complain was that we ended on a happy note with delicious soups at the bar to warm us on a frigid day.
Friendly Staff, Decent Course, Bad Experience
My review of staff & first 14 holes would be 4 or 5 stars. On the 15th random ppl (one with personal golf cart) joined the group in front of us. Heavy drinking, blasting music, and went from a group of 3 to a group of 8 ppl. Completely destroyed pace of play and we were unable to finish all 18 due to this carelessness. Need Ranger! Especially for weekends.
All is well in Lake Worth
Can be challenging due to the wind off the water.
Some greens have rot but for the most part conditions were good. Finished in 3 hours and 40 minutes.
Conditions much improved since last week
Course is drying out since last week and greens are a little faster, although the fertilizer pellets on most greens don’t make for great putting. Hopefully the rain this morning will melt them
Overall an enjoyable round, 3:40, great pace

The course was in need of some TLC
The greens on the front nine had little sand patches where it looked like someone had repaired a divot The back nine was better.
