About
The Club at Venetian Bay is part of a unique residential community with a Mediterranean theme. Colorful buildings, mosaics, and Mediterranean vegetation surround the championship golf course. The biggest challenge for the designers was transforming what was formerly a cow pasture into a lush, challenging course. The design team of Clifton, Ezell, and Clifton seemed to have little trouble doing so. The front nine plays through the woods while the back nine is more open with a few links-style touches. The most prominent feature of this golf course is the abundance of sand bunkers. There are more than 100 strategically placed throughout. The bunkers present a formidable test but they are nicely balanced with ample landing areas. They are also geared more towards low handicappers, which means they aren't intended to kill your round.

Venetian Bay
Great experience as usual. Although pulled up early to hit range. Not available due to recent heavy rain, all good.
If you haven't played here, you should know, they bring your cart to you in parking lot. This gentleman can give you up to date info.
On top of that awesome service, there's also a competent Marshall that keeps a good flow. Course was a bit wet this last time but always a great experience all around.
The crew keeps a tight ship but not overbearing.
Carts also have screens linked for yardage and Bluetooth.
All in all, the best course/ experience you'll find if you're local.

Nice fairways, nice greens don't have awkward deviations like other courses do that are only $10 cheaper. Carts go at good pace, food is great and easy to order on the course thanks to the gps the cart is equipped with!
Great course
We arrived late to our tee time, The starter and pro shop accommodated us and got us out anyway. Great staff.
The course is in great shape, wonderful and friendly place to play, even do it was a busy Saturday, pace of play was good.
Venitian Bay Golf Course
The course is very player friendly with lots of character. Excellent condition. The staff is super friendly. What a great experience. Must play!
Hidden Gem in New Smyrna
The course was in excellent shape tee to green. Staff was very friendly and accommodating from the bag drop to the starter. Only issue was the group in front of us and the fact we didn't see the beverage cart on the back 9. It was a hot day and we could've used a refill of ice and water. Other than those two items Venetian Bay is a favorite of our group.

always a decent layout, has been in disarray but now showing signs of improvement. Greens had grass on them but were very slow. Good value for 30 bucks.
Enjoyed the Round
Staff was great and very helpful. The course was in good shape. First time playing so the course book and green breaks on the cart were very helpful.
Nice course - will play again
Course was in good shape. A couple of large water puddles on the he cart path which could be easily fixed by removal sod at edges of paths here and there.!
