About
The Club at Venetian Bay is part of a unique residential community with a Mediterranean theme. Colorful buildings, mosaics, and Mediterranean vegetation surround the championship golf course. The biggest challenge for the designers was transforming what was formerly a cow pasture into a lush, challenging course. The design team of Clifton, Ezell, and Clifton seemed to have little trouble doing so. The front nine plays through the woods while the back nine is more open with a few links-style touches. The most prominent feature of this golf course is the abundance of sand bunkers. There are more than 100 strategically placed throughout. The bunkers present a formidable test but they are nicely balanced with ample landing areas. They are also geared more towards low handicappers, which means they aren't intended to kill your round.

A good course
I play the course every year when in the Daytona area. Price is reasonable. Course is generally in good conditiion and always has some wear on high traffic areas around the tee boxes and greens. Always a fun track..Staff is always friendly and helpful.
Very Nice Course
Played in terrible windy conditions but the course was in great shape. Heavy rains the night before so cart path only made things slower pace but overall enjoyed the course. I will return.
Great place to play. A few challenging holes. The greens ran true. T-boxes were okay could use a little touch up. Otherwise, everything was great. Staff is always friendly. We will continue to play here.
Easy course but very slow
We were going to LPGA Jones course but my friend said it was very slow on weekends. So we decided to try Venetian. Overall, it is an easy course, fairways are well maintained, greens are on the slow side but not ridiculous, tee boxes can use much more improvement! Our biggest complain is the pace of play, it was SO SLOW! Really ruining the fun to play. I will not go back again.
Gem in New Smyrna
Great layout and much improved with new owner. Great greens, layoutis terrific and staff were friendly. Worth the drive.
Greens
I have played a lot of golf courses around this area and this course is charging $65 to play on greens that have dead spots filled in with sand it's not worth it I've heard the course got sold I see her doing a lot of work on the inside but the course itself is a piece of junk it's a $30 course at the most
The greens and sand
Love the course and layout ... Fairways are fine and course in general is good ... But for years they could not get a handle on their greens... And now within playing twice...in 3 weeks they sanded again .. the greens are covered in sand .. and it's daily.... Their gonna have to replace these greens soon ....
Slow Greens
Course is in great shape. A few tee boxes could use a little work, but overall not too bad. Greens were slow. Overall we thought the course was very good. Pace was excellent. Enjoyed ourselves and will be back again.
