About
The Club at Venetian Bay is part of a unique residential community with a Mediterranean theme. Colorful buildings, mosaics, and Mediterranean vegetation surround the championship golf course. The biggest challenge for the designers was transforming what was formerly a cow pasture into a lush, challenging course. The design team of Clifton, Ezell, and Clifton seemed to have little trouble doing so. The front nine plays through the woods while the back nine is more open with a few links-style touches. The most prominent feature of this golf course is the abundance of sand bunkers. There are more than 100 strategically placed throughout. The bunkers present a formidable test but they are nicely balanced with ample landing areas. They are also geared more towards low handicappers, which means they aren't intended to kill your round.

Great Layout and Friendly Staff
I really loved the layout. The greens were in good condition but grainy in spots. It made the speed of putts unpredictable at times. The rest of the course was in excellent condition. It was the right amount of challenging to make it enjoyable. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. My son and I had a blast.
This course is well maintained.
Pleasurable round on a well maintained course. Had a little trouble with the gos in the cart, but got through it.
Enjoyable outing
Tee boxes, greens and fairways in very good condition. Lack of rain has dried out the course but still very playable. Great staff and cushy seated carts make play more pleasant. One of my favorite courses in the area
Good Florida golf
Staff and patrons friendly, pace of play okay, considering mostly foursomes. Conditions were good and the layout was easy to read for a first time course player. Wind was high at my round, which added a challenge. I would be very happy to play regularly here.
Greens
These screens are probably the worst screens you'll find in the area bumpy lot of dead spots and when they mow it they leave all the dead grass on the greens very bad shape
Greens were slow and a bit bumpy. Fairways were good.
Conditions of the course
The greens on this course are absolutely horrible there's not a smooth spot on them the speeds vary from green to Green you have a lot of dead spots on the greens tea boxes have a lot of bare spots and a fairways have a lot of bare spots it's not a $65 course I feel sorry for the people coming from up North because they play better coaches than this
Nice course played with nice partners
It was the second time this week that the golf course did not have my registration obtained through GolfNow (hotdeal). Thanks to the staff who has been very accommodating to find me a place.
Course
Lots of hard pan and dirt around greens slowest greens I ever putted on they were running like an 8 I know I worked a country club back home
V-course
It's pretty good, greens are getting a little crusty and are too slow. Joe in the Pro-shop was fantastic and helpful... Thanks...
All through thecourse has ball washers, but non of them working , broken , or missing the tops , and all them empty
