About
The Club at Venetian Bay is part of a unique residential community with a Mediterranean theme. Colorful buildings, mosaics, and Mediterranean vegetation surround the championship golf course. The biggest challenge for the designers was transforming what was formerly a cow pasture into a lush, challenging course. The design team of Clifton, Ezell, and Clifton seemed to have little trouble doing so. The front nine plays through the woods while the back nine is more open with a few links-style touches. The most prominent feature of this golf course is the abundance of sand bunkers. There are more than 100 strategically placed throughout. The bunkers present a formidable test but they are nicely balanced with ample landing areas. They are also geared more towards low handicappers, which means they aren't intended to kill your round.

Condition of the course
After playing this course I do not recommend it I played a nicer course the day before called Cypress Head in Port Orange the rates are cheaper and of course is in a lot better shape there's no dead spots around the greens or on the greens and the greens run true 10 on the meter beautiful layout I recommend you try Cypress Head
Improved over last year
We play Venetian Bay once or twice every year. It was in much better shape this year then last. Keep up the good work.
Worth it
I have played this course numerous times over the past 10 years or so. It is improving! The newer golf carts with GPS are much appreciated. Our time tee was at 8am. We finished 11 45am. So a good pace of play. Greens are average at best. But are improved from rounds from previous years. Traps are on great shape. Although could use additional rakes. Tee boxes, like the greens, are average at best, but improving. Fairways are good. Overall, a fun track that is not a ball eater and has a much better than average Florida layout.
Condition
First off if you go on our web page to make a tee time you can't make a tee time cuz your web page won't accept you next the greens are horrible you have a lot of dead spots on a fairways and around the greens nothing but dirt they need to spend some money and upgrade this course because it's going downhill
Great Layout and Friendly Staff
I really loved the layout. The greens were in good condition but grainy in spots. It made the speed of putts unpredictable at times. The rest of the course was in excellent condition. It was the right amount of challenging to make it enjoyable. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. My son and I had a blast.
This course is well maintained.
Pleasurable round on a well maintained course. Had a little trouble with the gos in the cart, but got through it.
Enjoyable outing
Tee boxes, greens and fairways in very good condition. Lack of rain has dried out the course but still very playable. Great staff and cushy seated carts make play more pleasant. One of my favorite courses in the area
Good Florida golf
Staff and patrons friendly, pace of play okay, considering mostly foursomes. Conditions were good and the layout was easy to read for a first time course player. Wind was high at my round, which added a challenge. I would be very happy to play regularly here.
Greens
These screens are probably the worst screens you'll find in the area bumpy lot of dead spots and when they mow it they leave all the dead grass on the greens very bad shape
