The Club at Venetian Bay

Early in the morning the course was very wet even though we have not had much rain in the past few days. Had two golf cars break down during the round.

Played following a heavy rain so the track was pretty wet. It was also recently aerated. Overall however the course was very playable, and in good shape. I'm sure when everything fills back in the course will be a 5 star! We played as a twosome, and never had a wait, and never had anyone catch us.

They're charging close to $50 course isn't worth 35 maybe 40 max greens are horrible need a lot of work a lot of crabgrass on the greens and around the greens on The Fringe

We always enjoy playing at Venetian Bay. Fun layout with some very challenging holes. Course is in great shape.

Had a 9:00 tee time but got out earlier…nobody in front or behind me. The course is in great condition with only a few wet spots here and there. It was aerated probably last week but almost healed. Greens are in good shape but a little slow. Once adjusted, not a problem. Dick in the pro shop is always great to see and is always upbeat. Great layout for either a beginner or a scratch golfer, but there are still plenty of holes that are challenging from the tees further back. I play here regularly and definitely recommend playing here.

This course is fair, challenging, and has many holes that are secluded and isolated from developing neighborhoods. The wildlife we saw included an osprey flying with a fish in its talons, a gopher tortoise, a gang of 12 turkeys, and the usual array of herons and ibises. The course had just been aerated, but still allowed an appreciation for the undulation and speed of the greens.

They should have a course ranger to keep groups moving around the course I watched a 4 some take several tee shots when we were already backed up

This is a great course to play. Not much water, greens we’re running true, t-boxes and fairways were in very good condition. Played here many times, using a little course management helped this time. Back nine, late morning or early afternoon can be a little windy. A fun course to play and staff have always been friendly. We’ll be back.

I’m glad they are trying to get the greens to be more consistent, but they have been bad since the spring.

Pace of play slooow! but this was the first nice day to play in a week.

If the superintendent ever figures out the greens, Venetian could give LPGA courses a run for the money.

Nice course with good layout. Plenty of tee boxes to chose from. Staff were all very nice. Bruce the starter was pleasant and friendly!

My wife, our friend & myself played yesterday and the course had plush fairways and the greens were perfect.Many of the holes were very pictursque and the par 3 were very challenging.

All the employees were very helpful and facilities were

awesome.

We would recommend the Venetian Golf Club to any golfer wanting to play a fantastic layout.

Course was in pretty good shape. A couple of areas where other golfers did not take in consideration for wet land…tire tracks. Greens were fast, front 9, back greens became a little slow. Fairways were in good shape as well as most of the greens. The only negative, the threesome in front of us were a little slow on a couple of holes and more homes being built. Overall a very good day to get out, we’ll be back.

Glad to see the effort being made to improve your greens. Pace of play a little slow on front nine, but much improved back nine. Course was a little wet but still in amazing shape.

If your in the area, put Venetian Bay on your courses to play. Best course for the money.

We were a twosome - but there were 2 5 somes in front of us. Pretty slow play. They may have been members - but anything more than a 4 some should never be permitted, unless the course is empty. The course was in great shape and considering the rain recently, was relatively dry.
