Stone Creek Golf Club

The course is always in good condition, the greens roll good. The fairways and tee boxes are in good condition. The staff is very friendly.
This time they put out a resident shotgun at 8:00 am that put the brakes on all play - took 2.75 hour to play nine holes - ended up giving up and didn't finish the course. Wish that I knew ahead of time they were having a shotgun - We wouldn't have played.

This is one of the best courses for your money. I have played courses in the hundreds of dollars per round that don't have as nice as greens as Stone Creek. I really enjoy the atmosphere in the restaurant after the round as well. It seems like there is always something going on for the members and residents. When we played they had all you can eat Prime Rib for $17.99. I highly recommend playing Stone Creek.

This was my first time playing the course and was very impressed with the course and it's layout. I drove over from the Tampa area and would make the drive again.

Course is in excellent shape!! Pro shop staff are great, polite and helpful. Holes heading into a direct wind or hurting crosswind require playing the conditions in order to score.

From the moment you drive through the gates and past the magnificent waterfall you get a feeling that today is going to be special.
The clubhouse is well stocked, nice design and the staff are friendly. Everyone wanted us to enjoy our day.
The golf course is very well maintained, has some interesting holes and good greens. Lots of Tee options too.

Paired up with some with some good guys and had a great afternoon round. Arrived a little early so had the "Golfer special" lunch which was great, good burger and fries combo with a draft for $9.99. Course conditions could of been better but no real complaints. Tees and fairways aerated but did not affect play. Bunkers good with mid weight sand. Greens were difficult to get the speed which were also aerated with mini holes not really affecting the line but were a little sandy. Course layout I rated fairly easy due to the size of the fairways. I hit some real poor drives and still did not loose a ball and putted horribly with six three putts and still shot 80. Recommend this is a very nice course, clubhouse and bar area is great, I will replay when the opportunity rises.

Beautiful course. Well maintained. Played thru hard rain shower. Well drained. Starter, pro, all staffs sre very kind and helpful. When you are in near Ocala, should play here.

A course that women who hit a long ball can reach the par fours in two.

Greens a little slow but over in great condition.

Hole 9 is the best. Cannot see the green from the tee. Great dogleg to left. Would play it again.

Enjoyed playing Stone Creek, although it was a cold and windy day. Course conditions were in great shape; fairways, greens, bunkers, etc.

It was a little cool for Florida, but the course was in great shape. Tee boxes and fairways were excellent. Some of the smoothest greens I've played on. Plenty of sand and nicely kepth traps.

Fairways are wide and forgiving. A few bunkers and water hazards throughout and elevation changes.

pace of play was really bad - we quit after 14 holes - to finish 18 holes would have been a 5 1/2 round

front nine - very bland - houses line the holes
back nine - much better with some excellent holes

Stone Creek is an upscale golf course with a great layout. Well manicured fairways and greens. There is a good mixture of easy & difficult holes BUT it is important to play from the correct tee blocks for your handicap to enjoy the round and score well. For people from the northern states, these fairways will remind you more of the courses you are familiar with, very plush and easy to get your club through. Green speed is moderate to fast depending on where you are (downgrain or against the grain). Book your tee time and enjoy the round!

I have nothing but good things to say about this club. The greens were great and prob ran about a 10 or 11. Fairway just perfec . Very impressed and I will definitely be going back there even though it is about a 35 min drive.

My second time at Stone Creek. Gracious and informative staff all around the course, pro shop, beverage cart , starter, and restaurant.

Course was in great shape. The greens were rolling true and fast for Florida greens. I love the layout and will be back.

The fairways and the greens are great. Unfortunately people left many rest of sigarettes and sigars behind on the teeboxes.

Gorgeous course with a very friendly staff..... if you are in the area, Play There! You won't be disappointed.
