Stone Creek Golf Club

Was passing through Ocala and decided to sneak in a little golf. Got a great twilight rate at Stone Creek. Course was in great shape from tee to green. The fairways were exceptional, very well kept. Only got in 16 holes due to lightning in the area, but thoroughly enjoyed course. I will definitely be back.

Great course. Excellent conditions. Broad fairways with fast greens. Enough challenges to make it fun. Had nothing to complain about. One of the best courses in the area. I'll be back soon.

Course in good condition - especially the greens for this time of year. Pace of play was great - 3.0 hours for a twosome. Staff are always friendly, plenty of cool water available around the course, cart lady is a hard worker coming around at least 3-4 times a round. Fairways were in good shape as well. Best value for course, course condition and cost in north central Florida day in and day out.

Facility is beautiful! Excellent practice area, club house and course conditions. Landing areas in the fairways are very generous. Greens were a little slow, but they appeared to be punched a few weeks ago, I'm sure in another week they will be in awesome shape. I really couldn't find anything negative to say about this course, and the price was very reasonable for the quality of the course!

I enjoyed this course. It was pretty wide open and easy to stay in the fairways. Unfortunately we got rained out. I will go back.

12:45 tee time w/ wife for $20.33 thru Golf Now Hot Deal. Minimal bodies of water. Wide tee shot landing areas. Tee boxes & fairways plush. Large elevated greens rolling fast & true. Immaculate course, not a weed visible. Large club house w/ fully stocked Proshop & very nice Restaurant. Carts are battery powered w/ windshield & raincover in back. Will definitely play again.

Prolly a top 10 course in all of Florida.. Won't find better greens in the area..very challenging from the Tips..felt like I was playing on a PGA tour quality course.. Highly recommend playing here

I've played a bunch of courses in the area but had not been here despite its reputation as a great course in the area. Was not disappointed. There must have been one group with a poor pace because we came to a screeching halt on 7. Thankfully they left after 9 and we played the back in 1.5 hours. Fast and true on the greens, lush fairways, upscale clubhouse, nice range area. Overall, best value in Marion County with rack rates of $32 and $25 after 11. A little out of the way but well worth it.

the course was in very good shape, generous fairways made for a fun experience , challenging greens (fast) were running true and made putting both challenging and fun. the day was quite breezy and we were in the middle of the May love bug cycle, but that's Florida golf. I would definitely play this course again. club house is nice and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Long course, 6 tee boxes to accommodate all golfers. Well maintained course that is with wide open fairways. Some water and some other hazards, but even average shots do not bring them into play. Truly believe you will enjoy this course.

Nice course in very good condition. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Fast greens. Play was slow. Group in front of us played very slow and ranger was not helpful. Had to wait on every hole. Will play there again and look for faster play.

This is a very nice well kept course. The fast greens make it a challenge. The only knock on this course is the lack of shade. Bring your sun screen and you can't go wrong.

Conditions we good as usual. Greens were plugged a few weeks ago, looking and rolling really nice. My consistent problems with this course is the pace of play and it's always windy. Practice green is consistent with course greens which I believe is hard to find. Always cool to see local PGA player Ted Potter Jr. playing too.

Absolutely beautiful track. The condition of the course is perfect. We started at 730 and was all done by 11. Highly recommend to any type of golfer. 5 star.

Stone Creek continues to be the best overall value in the Ocala, Florida area. Never a bare lie in the fairways. The greens accept an average shot and putts are relatively quick and roll true. The friendly rangers keep the pace of play up and a 4 hour, 10 minute round is the rule.

Greens, fairways and traps in great shape. Course is scenic , interesting and not too tough.

Play time greatly exceeded their own std and no one seemed to care. Mentioned it to the rover and he just shrugged and said course was full.
