Heron Creek Golf and Country Club - Marsh/Creek Course

Love the layout with some hills, don’t see that very often in Florida. Great price for green fees. Right now!!

Course was very fair and something for everyone. Not an easy course but is set up for all levels of players. Greens were nice with plenty of interest but not stupid hard greens as far as undulations. Perfect speed on the greens. Considering this course had just seen two hurricanes, Helene and Milton, this course was very impressive. I’d play it again anytime and often. Really can’t say enough good about it and especially when you compare it to other FL golf courses with the harsh conditions they endure. This one is a winner

A great value as far as bang for buck

Enjoyed the course, the staff, the faculty. All were very good. It was disappointing that we were not told when booking that we were going to play the same nine holes twice instead of another 9 hole course.

To start of, I love this course, always in great shape. Great clubhouse with a nice bar/lunchroom that non members can go in for a drink and a little food after playing. Great practice facilities also. My only complaint is the last 3 times we played it, they changed our tee times on us but never told us. This time the tee time was moved up 35 minutes so I had just enough time to change shoes and tee off. The last 2 times, they move our tee time back over an hour, which is why I didn’t get there my normal hour ahead of time. The starter had been great all three times working with us but the guys in the pro shop couldn’t care less. We play this course 3 or 4 times a year and tee time issues or not, we will continue too.

Beautiful scenery, course was in phenomenal condition, tough challenge. Very enjoyable.

I had a great time with my 2 boys. The staff was extremely helpful and caring and made sure we had a good time. Lot of rain recently came in so course was pretty wet. Could have been cart path only. Pace was slow but still had a great time.

Great greens. Every hole unique. Challenging. A must to play the correct tees! Recommend playing one forward of what you would normally. Water on every hole! Watch out for gators, they are big. Highly recommend this course.

Course in good shape, great layout. Greens a little bumpy. My complaints are, lack of any basic yardage all over course. Most par threes had no yardage marker. (Looks like they removed them) very little yardage markers on the course. No 150 yard post. Carts with no GPS… Makes me wonder why a top tier golf course are lacking basic golf necessities!! Not sure if I return or not. Played Marsh & Creek course's.
