Great Experience at HeronCreek
Played this course a couple of times now and have been very pleased with conditions, friendly staff and accommodating members. Course is in great shape, and is very challenging. Not cheap, but a good value.

Marsh/Creek 9's
27 hole course, Played the Marsh/Creek 9's, good layout with interesting variety of well bunkered holes. Course conditions were just ok, fairways were in good condition, greens were on the slow side, grass was too long on several of the tee boxes, bunkers were wet & had not been raked. Pace of play was 4:15, rangers were active (too active on one occassion - "you're 2 mins off schedule, need to pick it up" as we are waiting for the green to clear on a par 3 ??), staff was helpful, saw the beverage cart once. Greens fees were $105 including cart & range balls, range faces directly into the morning sun.

Pace
The pace is always fast which is great but this time it was really fast the rangers told us we were right on time but there were players right on our tail. I realized the players in back of us all had their own carts so they easily caught up to us on every hole. Not a biggy I just wanted to make sure they didn’t think we were slow as we were nicely spaced in back of the people in front of us.

First time playing. Great course, greens in excellent shape! Challenging with water. Would definitely recommend and will play again.

Overall a good experience and a nice course. However for the price we were surprised there was no gps in the carts and no towels provided. Starter was not friendly warning us to catch the group in front of us (who we’re already walking off the green) or the ranger would require us to skip a hole. Our wives were intimidated and rushed through the first few holes which was unwarranted
