Nice Course
Lovely homes and condo's around the course. Nature to observe. Quiet. Friendly
The wind is always up. Lotsa fun!
Excellent day on course. Greens were fast and a little bumpy. Bunkers were in okay shape. Fairways were medium pace.
Always fun.
Really fun layout
Conditions were much improved from what I remember a few years ago which made this experience so much more satisfying. Greens in very good shape though slightly slower than what I prefer. Staff was excellent. Made us feel welcome and treated us like we were important to them. Course is very tight in spots and makes one play strategically which was fun. Didn’t necessarily play well but that sure wasn’t the facilities fault. For the time of year I felt the price was a little much but obviously they’re spending it on the course so I won’t fault them for that. Will definitely be back. Good job Palm Cove!
Fun layout and very challenging
A narrow course that rewards the player who can hit his drives and long irons to a target area that frequently is a third of the size of a football field, which although sounds large, is actually pretty small when played for the first time. And if there’s a breeze, the challenge is all the more difficult. I look forward to playing with my low handicap sons who hit the ball a great distance as that advantage will be tempered.
Gator Trap
Joe the Starter was outstanding. Tried to find me a game but did let me go single in front of a large group. Despite waiting on every shot, only took 3 hours to play. Course is tight with lots of trouble. Gold tees were actually the Black tee yardage. Greens held very well but weren’t very smooth. Need water coolers on the course since the COVID scare is over.
Friendly Staff
Great day of golf with perfect weather. Course was in great shape.
Gold tees - meh
The 6200 back gold tees on this course felt like how many courses place ladies tees. “Oh here’s an opening.”
Palm Cove is the most crowded par 71 course that I’ve played. Holes were often very pretty with a good variety of Florida foliage but houses in lieu of rough is not my style. Greens were bumpy 8s.
Interesting Course
Plenty of challenges with this course. Well maintained. Fun to play with a mixture of lengths and looks.
A fun course, many challenges and shortcuts, but also easy to loose balls
Fun challenging greens
We had a perfect S FL day, sunny mid 70's. Staff was great, starters, clubhouse, and pro shop were all very helpful and attentive . The course was in excellent shape. Greens were quick but true. Overall this is a shot makers course with tight fairways and plenty of water. You will need to hit it straight. I look forward to playing it again soon.
First timer!
First time getting to experience Palm Cove! My friends told me about it and all the lost balls but I must admit it was one of my favorites out of all the courses we played. Staff was very friendly and informative. Price was $58 and the replay was $25. Beautiful course in great condition. Another course where you have to hit decent shots or your gonna lose a ball. Not much rough beyond the fairway and you don't want to go wandering around in the wilderness. Plenty of wildlife and water to go along with your round of golf. I would have to rate this as a challenging course. Would definitely play there on my return trip next year.
