Heritage Isles Golf and Country Club

have just found this GEM, plan on playing this as my home course. not one thing negative about this course. If you have not played here, you are missing out on a GREAT DAY.

BEST COURSE AROUND,WELL MAINTAINED,STAFF,STARTER ARE THE BEST

I consider Heritage Isles Golf and Country Club my home course. Started at 8:00 am and was cart path only because of 2 inches of overnight rain. Course was still playable with tee boxes and green in pretty good shape and even though fairways and bunkers had some water you could find dryer areas to place the ball to hit. Finished in 3-1/2 hours and they have water coolers every 3 to 4 holes to keep hydrated.

This is the best we have played so far. The drought has y affected them at all.

We’ve played Heritage Isle several times over the past year, and the course has consistently been in good condition. During this round, we were paired with another twosome and had a great time overall. The weather and heat index were extremely high, and we didn’t see many groups behind us, so we were never really being pushed from the rear.

The main issue was the twosome in front of us, who were consistently hitting three or four balls off the tee. That slowed the pace and created some frustration.

The sign on Hole 1 says, “Play Good, Play Fast, Play Poorly, Play Faster.” While I understand the intent, there is nothing worse than starting a round with the feeling that you’re being rushed through the course. I’m not sure whether this was due to poor group spacing by the starter or an effort to push as many golfers through as possible, but better pace-of-play oversight and course management would make that sign unnecessary.

Overall, Heritage Isle is a nice course in good condition, but the pace-of-play management could be improved. We only missed playing out the 18th hole due to the rain.

found my new home course. everything about this course is great. had to go out of my way to find "crab grass" and the price thru GOLF NOW is making it possible to play.

Hot and dry, but overall the course was in good shape and I was joined by a friendly father son duo.

Amazing course with the layout and quality. Can't wait for the green to be done to play there again.

I was advised by the ranger that I had to share my cart with the person they were pairing me with. I asked if I could just pay for a “rider” even though it was just me and was told yes…When I protested at the pro shop about being forced to share a cart with a stranger, the manager decided the best approach was to condescendingly (instead of calmly explaining their rationale) tell me that’s how it is everywhere and he has had to do it at other clubs. If this is the case, I may have just been lucky for the last 4 years to not be forced to share a cart with a stranger….the kid at the register ended up not charging me, at least he was kind. I will not be returning nor recommending. FYI there was a gentleman 3 groups ahead of me, that I caught up to that was in a cart by himself…makes me wonder if my ethnicity had anything to do with this rule. Thanks for being welcoming to all kinds of people!

Course is always at the top of my list but this time we were misled by the pro shop attendant who told me that I'd only paid for nine holes since the back nine was undergoing aerating. Believing I'd made the mistake we stopped after nine and left, only to check my booking at home to see that I had booked and paid for 18 holes for 2 golfers according to my Golfpass receipt. Never trust them again.

Almost 7000 from the tips with a lot of tough tee box placements, course is challenging with a lot of water but in great shape overall.

I have only played there twice. the course is in great shape. You cannot beat the price.

Very well kept course. Greens were green and played faster in the afternoon . Fairways showwd no brown spots and were also green and trimmed .

The tee boxes were also well kept. Great value for the money.

Bruhhhhhhhh… this course was the best in the Tampa area BY FAR!
