Heritage Isles Golf and Country Club

They are overbooked and the staff is quite rude in the pro shop and starter. Nice course but you will be playing at least a 5 hour round here and waiting on every tee

The course, the range and the staff here far exceeded my expectations for a mid-priced track on the outskirts of Tampa. Ten minute tee times made pace a nonissue. I was fortunate to play with a member who was a good player and was generous with advice on how to navigate each hole… probably saved me 5 strokes. The smallish greens were in great shape and the cart GPS was spot on. Would absolutely play again if in the area again.

Had a twosome, got right out with another twosome. Finished regulation time. Course was in good shape!

Nice layout but way to many groups on the course. Did not see one course ranger.

Greens need rolling and firming.

First of all, the booking is very efficient and for a course that is open to the public the amenities, staff, starters and rangers are 5 star! For the Tampa Bay Region there are a lot more courses much worse than this one that charge more money, so the value is great.

The only complaint I have is with the people that play here. As a single player they pair you up with anyone who books your tee time which is good so you meet a lot of different people.

I have noticed many of the people I've been paired up with don't fill in their divots, don't rake the sand trap and don't fix ball marks on the green. Golf ediquite is important. When I play with players I don't know, I stand to the side of the tee box and watch their ball flight to help them find it. Many of the younger players hit it really far and high and some need a spotter to follow the flight of the ball.

I do that and it helps keep the speed up.

On the other hand, many of the players don't even watch my ball flight. I don't get it. This is always a busy course so being able to find balls, especially now when the leaves are covering the ability to see the reflection of a ball, it can take a little while to find a ball.

Is it too much to ask for these players to understand that golf is a game where there is decorum?

Great overall experience. We were paired with two easy going guys and from the first tee to the last, never had to wait to take a shot. Course was in great condition. Finished our round in 3 1/2 hours. Very enjoyable day.

I love golf courses that have an incredible layout, and I love trees. Being from Florida I don’t see many trees on golf courses or hills anything of that sort, but this course had it all. The greens were an unbelievable condition too, which was fantastic, I will 100% be coming back here and when I’m in the area.

Slow pace of play. Course was nice and staff were very friendly and helpful. Played with members that were fun to play with. Enjoyable 4:45 round.

I play here often. Mostly a good experience. One of the good things about Heritage Isles is they have a great staff and starters are fantastic. I play as a single and they always send me out with other golfers so I'm not playing in between groups. Usually they add me to a 3-some or a 2-some. It's nice because you can socialize and meet people. The course itself isn't hard except the putting is exceptionally challenging. Flag placement can be difficult and none of the greens are flat. There are elevations and putts twist and turn.
