About
Heritage Isles is a scenic course that cut through native cypress heads and natural wetland areas. At 6,976 yards from the tips, it is one of the most demanding public golf courses in the Bay area. While water does come into play on all 18 holes the premium has been put on the short game. With large, meticulously maintained greens, those players who are handy on the putting surface should be able to shave a few strokes off their scores.

Update Did Not Come
Checked in and normally reliable desk clerk but he did not tell us that two holes on the front nine were cut back to the fairways one was Hole Number 1 a par 4 and the other Hole 5 a par 3. It would have been nice to know that and charge full fee cost with two holes in that condition is not a good thing for course. Shape of the course was okay...and with no starter in the box tee times were hap hazard....
Slow play
No Marshall monitoring the pace of play. We were behind group of 3, a group of 2 and a single.
Heritage Isles
First time playing this course. Really like the layout. Greens rolled perfectly. Rough was fair IMO. Couple of the bunkers were extremely soft, and others were relatively normal. Had a fun time playing there. Looking forward to going back!
Great Round!
The course is in great shape. They are still working on hurricane cleanup, which should not take anything away from the course condition. Great place to play.
I’ll be back
Said before, this is a shot maker’s course. You need to play it at least twice to understand where and how far to hit the ball off the tee. It’s not an automatic driver on par fours. Position is everything to scoring.
Greens are in good shape as are fairways. Greens are not that fast, but speed is good, just watch which direction the grain is going.
I’ll play again.
Fairways and greens in good shape
Over all the course was enjoyable to play. Fairways and greens were well maintained. The only issue may be that a little work be done on the sand traps. Other than that, no complaints.
