Getting better as the course get rain, The management and staff are doing a great job with the course.

Course was in good shape. Only real issue is the Clubhouse is closed on the weekends.

The course is close to being in perfect condition. Great friendly staff and a fun place to play.

Course conditions are noticeably improved over previous months. All greens are mostly in good shape, albeit very slow. Tee boxes and fairways have mostly come into good shape, with only a few bare spots. The course improvements and on-going maintenance is appreciated. As always, the staff is great!

I like the layout and relatively recent greens upgrade.

Water doesn't come in play and the fairways are considerably wide.

Staff is great and welcoming and the Bar/restaurant area are very well cared.

Its amazing how different this place looks in just over a month.

Played here a month ago and it was a mess. Not anymore.

Greens have dramatically improved. All of them were nice, a few perimeter spots here and there but thats being picky.

Actually saw the greenskeeper on the course and complimented him on the accomplishment. Greens, fairways and tees all greatly improved over the last month.

3 staff members greeted me upon check in, all were very polite, ranger even offered me some water out on the course.

Pace was great after playing through a couple of groups, under 3 hour round.

Great to see Sputhport back in good shape.

Great layout, course in good shape for this time of year. I would recommend playing this course.

We were surprised when we arrived and were told that in order to play 18 holes, we would have to play the back nine twice. But we did and the world didn't end. The greens were not good. Lots of ugly spots. Seemed like they were not mowed so putts were very slow - until they weren't. As the round progressed, they got faster. We guessed they were drying out. Like the course, but could do without the surprises and with consistent greens.

The only positive I can take from this round was the $20 price tag.

Greens, Fairways, and tees are all a mess. Not one green is unblemished. Sandy grassless patches on every green. They were very bumpy and slow. The cups look like they are rarely moved, most likely due to the lack of grass to move them to.

Fairways are very spotty, making it hard to find a decent lie.

Tee boxes were uneven, and more dirt/sand than grass.

At the $20 price point it was like an extended range session.

Not sure what the overall issues are here. It was in great shape a while ago before hurricane Milton, but since has truly never been the same.

The course is great for working on wedges and irons.. The greens on the front 9 were a bit worn but the back 9 greens were great! This course was super peaceful and quiet.. I will be back to play again.. The range is no longer active so the only drawback. Great times!

Course closed last summer to improve course. I believe they made it worse. Tee boxes had little to no grass. Fairways were ok, the greens were awful. I’ve played this before the improvements and it was great.

Greens were patchy like drought damaged. Fairways were satisfactory.

They are aerating the tee boxes and possibly the greens on the back nine so only the front 9 was open. I did not know these were the conditions. It use to be my favorite course to play on, but the greens are tore up and very bumpy and the fairways lack grass. Hopefully it will get back to the course it use to be.
