Southport Springs Golf & Country Club

While the greens are far from perfect, the course itself was great to play. The course layout incorporates some fun doglegs and a few tight fairways. The back nine conditions reminded me of a resort level course with the fairways perfect and the sand in the bunkers white and fluffy. I would highly recommend.

I don’t know if it’s GolfPass’s fault or the course, but it would have been 25% cheaper to book directly with the course… and it would have included lunch. Seems like something either party should be able to figure out instead of shrugging and overcharging me.

after over a year of struggles this little track is back in good playable condition. The greens are very hard / bouncy, but roll fairly true. The snowbirds are going to be very happy this fall.

Getting better as the course get rain, The management and staff are doing a great job with the course.

Course was in good shape. Only real issue is the Clubhouse is closed on the weekends.

The course is close to being in perfect condition. Great friendly staff and a fun place to play.

Course conditions are noticeably improved over previous months. All greens are mostly in good shape, albeit very slow. Tee boxes and fairways have mostly come into good shape, with only a few bare spots. The course improvements and on-going maintenance is appreciated. As always, the staff is great!

I like the layout and relatively recent greens upgrade.

Water doesn't come in play and the fairways are considerably wide.

Staff is great and welcoming and the Bar/restaurant area are very well cared.

Its amazing how different this place looks in just over a month.

Played here a month ago and it was a mess. Not anymore.

Greens have dramatically improved. All of them were nice, a few perimeter spots here and there but thats being picky.

Actually saw the greenskeeper on the course and complimented him on the accomplishment. Greens, fairways and tees all greatly improved over the last month.

3 staff members greeted me upon check in, all were very polite, ranger even offered me some water out on the course.

Pace was great after playing through a couple of groups, under 3 hour round.

Great to see Sputhport back in good shape.

Great layout, course in good shape for this time of year. I would recommend playing this course.

We were surprised when we arrived and were told that in order to play 18 holes, we would have to play the back nine twice. But we did and the world didn't end. The greens were not good. Lots of ugly spots. Seemed like they were not mowed so putts were very slow - until they weren't. As the round progressed, they got faster. We guessed they were drying out. Like the course, but could do without the surprises and with consistent greens.
