About
Cypress Head, an Arthur Hills design, is a blend of holes and styles, a layout of two distinct nines that impress players through different means. At 6,805 yards from the tournament tees, the course is not a beast (there are three alternative sets to choose from).
The first nine is the highlight at Cypress Head. These holes take on a variety of shapes and strategies with little repetition.
It features multi-tiered undulating greens and preserved wetlands with water coming into play on 14 of the 18 holes. The 14th hole is a 478-yard par 4 over water that comes into play off the tee as well as the second shot to the multi tiered green.
The Golf Club also features a lighted driving range and practice facility. Two practice putting greens, a target green and sand bunkers for honing your skills before taking on the challenges of the course
With its' superb conditions and beautiful wetlands setting, Cypress Head is a public club that offers a private and tranquil experience.

A real gem!
We were Quite pleased with our overall experience at Cypress Head. The cart guys to the bar staff really made us feel welcome. Greens, fairways, and tee boxes were well maintained.
Great Course
1 thru 18 great layout, great condition , friendly staff , just a great round, will definitely be back !
Loved it.
Worth every penny. The layout was great some of the par fours were no lon, we played the whites as 75-year-olds still shot in the low tomid-90sl. White fairways for your drives narrowing for your second shot. Several shots over water thoroughly enjoyed the experience
Nice Course
Course was in excellent condition. We were a 3some so it seemed slow but we finished in under 4.5 hours so it was not too bad. Fully enjoyed the course, no complaints, and looking forward to going back and playing again
Great golf course
It was a hot day and the course supplied a bottle of water and ice was available to put in small cooler on cart. The course was in very good shape after having the greens aerated about three weeks ago.. It is well maintained with with beautiful scenery and has a great layout with water on several holes. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it.
Cypress Head
Course in really good condition, despite being punched a few weeks ago. Now...if somebody could just speed up some REALLY slow players in front of us, it would be awesome.
Bad smell
Unfortunately, there was a bad smell around most of the course. I don’t know if it was coming from the water in the lakes or where. But, it was unpleasant.
Florida Gem
Looking for private course conditions and the friendliest staff to ever grace a clubhouse? Look no further. Come play this place if you’re just browsing courses to try. This place is a HIDDEN GEM and I’ll be back! Immaculate conditions tee to green.
Outstanding Conditions
Cypress Head is in outstanding shape. My buddies and I play a variety of central Florida courses (over 50 different ones annually), including some high-end venues. The course conditions at Cypress Head are easily in the upper echelon of those courses. Even the punishing rough was lush and full! Holes are challenging but fair. Highly recommend!
Greens are dressed but still good
My favorite course in the area is undergoing regular maintenance, but all is good! Keeping a course this nice requires periods like these, but management is on point in their discounts on fees and full disclosure of conditions. It’s totally playable, but expect work around tee boxes, paths and punched fairways and greens(1.5 weeks ago).
Great course
Greens recently punched and sanded, but otherwise, great place to play!! Will definitely return.

On my way to the course....my son calls...car towed and can't make it. I thought we were going to lose the greens fee.
Explained to Tammy and she helped us out. We've always experienced great service here...but this sealed the deal for me. Will be back soon!
Nice Track
Played yesterday and the course is in very good shape.
The only negative was they had punched and sanded the greens the day before. Even because of that I found it to be a great experience.
Loved that the rangers came up to us three times with free bottles of ice cold water.
Will definitely be back as this is one of the better public courses I’ve played.
Great Course 15 Min From Daytona Beach
I really enjoyed this course played on the saturday after 4th of July so was not TOO crowded but we played right at 7 am.. Had to wait a little but not too bad. My girlfriend tagged along just to ride the cart and its kind of silly some courses charge $18 to ride along.
