About
Cypress Head, an Arthur Hills design, is a blend of holes and styles, a layout of two distinct nines that impress players through different means. At 6,805 yards from the tournament tees, the course is not a beast (there are three alternative sets to choose from).
The first nine is the highlight at Cypress Head. These holes take on a variety of shapes and strategies with little repetition.
It features multi-tiered undulating greens and preserved wetlands with water coming into play on 14 of the 18 holes. The 14th hole is a 478-yard par 4 over water that comes into play off the tee as well as the second shot to the multi tiered green.
The Golf Club also features a lighted driving range and practice facility. Two practice putting greens, a target green and sand bunkers for honing your skills before taking on the challenges of the course
With its' superb conditions and beautiful wetlands setting, Cypress Head is a public club that offers a private and tranquil experience.

Outstanding!!!
I’m am so glad I decided to go here. The staff took my golf bag and the customer services was second to none. NEVER have I’ve been to course where the RANGER??…. offered me water every time he passed by. Just absolutely nice!!
The greens were fast tho .. I’m talking at LEAST 11 or 12 on the stimp!! Fairways were immaculate. You know the course is well kept when your divots carves out like butter.. JUST SILKY SMOOTH!! I only get that feeling from private courses!! The layout is great too!! Had to hit 170+ shots to hit the green OVER WATER several times!!
I will always come back here!! Don’t know if I should try another course as this one set the bar very high for this area of Florida!!
Too expensive
Love the course would not play again unless I got a similar deal-all other rates too expensive…The club house, bag guys abd bark cart folks are really great. I left my range finder on cart and got a shortly after I left since I live a mile away…nice to know there art still honest folks with with good character still around…thanks
Absolutely love this course
My son and I play here every chance we get. The tract is fun, and the course is always in phenomenal shape. We can't wait to play here again.

Very well laid out course some challenges but that’s golf. We had a fun time playing, certainly will come back.

Worth The Drive From Orlando
First time playing this course, It's a very good challenging course from tee to green.
Drove up from Orlando, found this course in better condition then courses in the WD area of Orlando.
Staff, course and experience made this a nice day on the course for me.

Practice Round for a Tournament
The course is pretty easy to get to, not much winding through neighborhoods and such.
The staff were very accommodating with regards to taking the cart to the parking lot to pick up our equipment, which I am assuming is not typical.
The inside staff were very friendly, especially the bar staff. They were full of information for local cuisine and entertainment for our upcoming visit.
There were about 5 or 6 people checking players in and assigning carts etc. which is unheard of at most courses but nice.
My tee time was 1:09 and I was on the tee box 10 minutes prior. When my tee time rolled around, the 1:00 group was getting to the tee box and then the rest of my group came. The point I am making is, out of all the people checking people in, no one was proactively going to the range and announcing that certain tee times were on the box and that would have (or should have) prompted the groups to move along to the tee. Our group did not tee off until 1:23 and they had a full tee sheet, which backed everyone up behind us.
Other that that hiccup, everything else was great, except constantly waiting on the group in front of us, which I believe the marshall spoke with, a couple of times about pace of play.
I would go back for casual rounds.
