About
Cypress Head, an Arthur Hills design, is a blend of holes and styles, a layout of two distinct nines that impress players through different means. At 6,805 yards from the tournament tees, the course is not a beast (there are three alternative sets to choose from).
The first nine is the highlight at Cypress Head. These holes take on a variety of shapes and strategies with little repetition.
It features multi-tiered undulating greens and preserved wetlands with water coming into play on 14 of the 18 holes. The 14th hole is a 478-yard par 4 over water that comes into play off the tee as well as the second shot to the multi tiered green.
The Golf Club also features a lighted driving range and practice facility. Two practice putting greens, a target green and sand bunkers for honing your skills before taking on the challenges of the course
With its' superb conditions and beautiful wetlands setting, Cypress Head is a public club that offers a private and tranquil experience.

Always good value with good conditions
We always enjoy playing cypress head, a challenging mix of holes with water on numerous holes to keep you honest. Fairways in good shape, greens had been sanded but ran true, tee blocks were a bit chewed up on a few holes .
We were half hour early but waited for our tee time while several groups showed up a minute or two before their tee time. Backing everyone up
Great course
This was our first time playing the course. They had been closed the day before after receiving 5 inches of rain, so the ground was soft but the tee boxes had all been re-seeded and course was in great shape. Will definitely be back
Great round
Fast greens; long roll in fairways; course in great condition; friendly staff. Could improve allowances for players with handicap flags (one ranger was somewhat rude when I got to close to tee box)..

Excellent Course
Loved my round. Had a great time with the friends.
Pace was great and the greens are puuuuure. Navigate your way around this course for a great day. Come back a 2nd or 3rd them for the scoring round.
Becoming my favorite
Course is in great shape, greens are consistent and roll well but they are a bit slow IMO, really my only ‘complaint’. Great value. Back to back 3’s and back to back 5’s add interest. Playable but not easy.
Haven’t played here in a while
Any Kemper Sports golf course that I have played is usually in good condition and very well managed.

Perfect day for the round, course in ex cellent condition and evidence of improvement in progress, greens were a bit hairy but rolled true. Totally satisfied value for the money..

Punched Green Alert!
Great course! My buddies and I always have a great time at Cypress Head. The layout is interesting and fair, and conditions are usually terrific.
Today, the pace of play(nothing but twosomes going out), combined with the surprise of freshly sanded and punched greens,(no mention at time of booking or at check in) made for a less than ideal golf day. We would have played elsewhere and let the greens come in had we known.
The staff here is top notch-this must have been one of those odd days.
Great day
Love this course. Always in nice shape and good value for a municipal facility. Just played on a really hot/ humid Florida day and the ranger was driving around offering cold waters and cold wet towels to beat the heat. Don't find that kind of service at higher end courses.
Decent course great staff ,slow
Slow play killed what was a decent day.. left after 13 holes ,need a ranger out there to move people.. just way to slow .. course is nice and staff is friendly!

It took us an hour and 45 minutes to play 4 holes the course was too crouded

Round summary
Real nice lay out. Greens and fairways were in excellent shape. Heavy rain made the course cart path only. Definitely the right call. Because of wet. conditions course played long. Over all great experience
