Cypress Head Golf Club

The day was hot. Very hot, but the course was so pretty to look at and even nicer to play. We saw the Marshall on our 2nd hole you offered us water, ice and cold towels with the reminder to drink plenty of water. We saw him at least 4 more times during our round! Now. The course, very good condition. Greens cut and rolled to perfection. The fairways were very nice without weeds, bare spots or any other imperfections. A very good test of your golf no matter what tee you choose. We enjoyed the course and the day and plan to return.

I always enjoy playing Cypress Head whenever I’m in the Daytona area. It is without question one of the top three public courses in the area. The course was in the best shape (fairways and greens) that I have ever seen during the summer months. I’d recommend this course to low and high handicappers alike.

Nothing negative to say. In great shape as always. I like this course more everytime I play it.

This is consistently the best daily fee/municipal course in the area. Even this time of the year when most courses virtually stop maintaining their courses (Greens slow, hairy & inconsistent) Cypress continues to keep its gem in exemplary condition. The staff always greets with a smile and eager attentiveness. Only other course with a better range in the Area is LPGA. (Don’t expect that to last as it is clear they are putting no money into that place of late - Pending sale?). Pace of play can sometimes be an issue. An EFFECTIVE ranger would not hurt. Only down side is not beverage cart. This time of year it sure would be nice. Always on my rotation. If it was 15 minutes closer to NSB I’d play weekly.

Course in great shape, greens a bit bumpy. Pace was good. The only negative was no cart person. If you didn’t pack plenty of water you stood a very good chance of getting heat stroke. I’m sure the cart person was smart enough to stay inside today with the AC on full blast. Highly recommend this course, just pick a day when you don’t feel like your walking on the sun.

Great back nine holes of golf with my daughter. We were slow moving but didn’t seem to disrupt any other guests. Will definitely take advantage of the great rates and great conditions!

Checked reviews on golf now and condition wise with relation to price, this course sounded like a favorable choice. Course is in very good shape, staff was accommodating, pace of play was a bit slow at first but smoothed out as round continued (4-1/2 hr) 18 holes. In contrast to other courses I have recently played this course was head and shoulders above. Plan on playing many more times this year.

Cypress Head is always in great shape tee to green and offers a variety of holes with many mounds and rolling fairways as well as a good amount of water. Several tee shots carry over water or a hazard. A few doglegs.

It will be a favorite after you play it once. City course but always one of the top maintained courses year round. Every tee is a different (& great) experience. The range is TRAGIC. C’mon boys grass is good for the range. The fairways are great but the range is DIRT. Get some mats if necessary.

Played about 10 days after they punched and top dressed the greens. They were pretty slow, need about another week or so to fill in and few cut/rolls, but was surprised that they rolled decent. Fun layout with a good mix of holes.
