About
Cypress Head, an Arthur Hills design, is a blend of holes and styles, a layout of two distinct nines that impress players through different means. At 6,805 yards from the tournament tees, the course is not a beast (there are three alternative sets to choose from).
The first nine is the highlight at Cypress Head. These holes take on a variety of shapes and strategies with little repetition.
It features multi-tiered undulating greens and preserved wetlands with water coming into play on 14 of the 18 holes. The 14th hole is a 478-yard par 4 over water that comes into play off the tee as well as the second shot to the multi tiered green.
The Golf Club also features a lighted driving range and practice facility. Two practice putting greens, a target green and sand bunkers for honing your skills before taking on the challenges of the course
With its' superb conditions and beautiful wetlands setting, Cypress Head is a public club that offers a private and tranquil experience.

Saturday Round
Had an absolute blast at cypress head today! The course is in fantastic shape from tee box to green. The greens especially are in incredible shape. The layout of the course is awesome, challenging and fun. One of the best courses I have played recently and I can’t wait to come back for another round. The bar is great with friendly staff, nice out door patio to enjoy a beer after the round.
Greens inconsistently slow
Course was in good condition for February. Only issue was that the greens were considerably slower than when last played three weeks prior. Felt like they hadn’t been cut in about three days. Courses need to be more consistent with their frequency of cutting and/or rolling greens.
Nice course
The course was in good shape. The only issue I had was the speed of the greens. Greens were in good shape, but a little slow to my liking. Overall a very nice course. I would definitely play again.
The pace of play was tremendous! Course was busy and we played at 4 hours with a foursome.
Great Layout - Challenging Course
Great layout in excellent condition. Greens are in great condition - just lacked pace. Staff was very pleasant - professional and helpful. Definitely a must play if you’re in the area. Our group thoroughly enjoyed our day of golf!!
Greens
Greens were not in the best of shape. Doent look like many people repair the ball marks. Very slow.
Good Value
We enjoyed this golf course. It was in great condition and we liked the layout. It was a very playable design without any ‘tricked out’ holes. The greens were in great condition, just a little slower than we typically play on. Very good value. We will play it again soon.
Fairness of play
I found the course layout challenging. I normally play white tees ~ 6800 + yds. I played the black tees ~6300 yds.. There was a significant amount of water (13 holes) which water comes into play. In addition, whomever was setting the hole locations must think he's funny. The hole locations were difficult. Other golfers in my foursome complained more than that "its not the PGA" .
The scenery was beautiful, the course was in very good shape, having said that I would not play this course again.

great Golf course
we really enjoyed the round even was colder and windy day. Very nice layout with lots of holes with water in play, forced caries . Very undulated greens and bunkers protecting them. Great conditions, the green were slow that day. friendly stuff and nice club house. We would love to play it again. It is more interesting than LPGA Int both courses, I think.
Great Day on golf course
Had an enjoyable time and was paired up with another couple from Virginia.
I like this course a lot. I play it frequently.
The guy checking out the carts was very nice. Overall it is one of the best courses in central Florida.
Outstanding value
Great layout. Very challenging lots of water. Make sure you look at yardage slope and layout before choosing your tees. Allows walking. Walked all 18 from back tees on a Friday afternoon in a little over 3 hours. Greens in nice condition rolled true decent speed. Staff friendly. Could be nicest course I ever played for the price under $30.
Fair Play
The course was in great shape, greens putted true and good speed. Traps were good sand, with rakes present. Pace of play was slow, but didn't see a ranger on the course our entire round so no way to speed them up.
Great track with plenty of challenges
Staff was efficient and helpful. Course was in very good condition. Greens were quick and true. Excellent pace of play.
