About
Cypress Head, an Arthur Hills design, is a blend of holes and styles, a layout of two distinct nines that impress players through different means. At 6,805 yards from the tournament tees, the course is not a beast (there are three alternative sets to choose from).
The first nine is the highlight at Cypress Head. These holes take on a variety of shapes and strategies with little repetition.
It features multi-tiered undulating greens and preserved wetlands with water coming into play on 14 of the 18 holes. The 14th hole is a 478-yard par 4 over water that comes into play off the tee as well as the second shot to the multi tiered green.
The Golf Club also features a lighted driving range and practice facility. Two practice putting greens, a target green and sand bunkers for honing your skills before taking on the challenges of the course
With its' superb conditions and beautiful wetlands setting, Cypress Head is a public club that offers a private and tranquil experience.

Course was immaculate
Keep it up ground crew! Everything was how you want to see it. Weedless fairways and greens. Greens were hard and well maintained.
Cypress
Course was in good shape. Greens rolled well, layout was good and offered plenty of challenging shots, but a very playable course for all skill levels. Pro shop staff was friendly and helpful. Pace of play was a little slow but the shop accommodated us and we finished a round in 3.5 hours.
Cool course, but don't you dare get a discount
Cypress Head is a neat little track, lotsa water, good layout. Greens are in good shape, just a bit slow, but putt-able.
It reminds me of an old time country club, well developed course with some real honey holes out there. Cool back to back par 5's to finish.
The cheap tee time people however, who play in the afternoon get treated like a mentally challenged step-child. I felt like I needed to apologize for playing cheap, when there was almost no one else playing at all. Nice business acumen!
Maybe see you again, maybe not.
But the course is overall a fun tract worth playing.

Great muni course!
Played Cypress Head for the first time. For a municipal course the pace of play was a bit crazy, very busy. But the condition of the course made up for the pace. Fantastic. Better than others in the area. CH is now part of my rotation.
Decent track…Slow play!
Course was quirky but fun. Back to back 3s and 5s. Can’t say I’ve seen either before.
We were a two some and the third group off. The three ahead of us were slow and had 17 holes to let us pass, but never did. They moved in slow motion and did not seem to care that they were gumming up the works. Not sure any of them broke 100, but dang…every putt mattered.
Anyway, fun track if you’re in the area. Greens were good.
Great courses for the money
Really enjoyed the course today except getting rained out. Always come back and play this course, the staff is always professional and very friendly. Green in great shape though a little slow.
Excellent course in excellent shape.
I recently played LPGA and I can honestly say that Cypress Head was every bit as well manicured as LPGA was.
Great layout which can present a challenge to a less skilled golfer who has trouble getting the ball in the air.
