About
Cypress Head, an Arthur Hills design, is a blend of holes and styles, a layout of two distinct nines that impress players through different means. At 6,805 yards from the tournament tees, the course is not a beast (there are three alternative sets to choose from).
The first nine is the highlight at Cypress Head. These holes take on a variety of shapes and strategies with little repetition.
It features multi-tiered undulating greens and preserved wetlands with water coming into play on 14 of the 18 holes. The 14th hole is a 478-yard par 4 over water that comes into play off the tee as well as the second shot to the multi tiered green.
The Golf Club also features a lighted driving range and practice facility. Two practice putting greens, a target green and sand bunkers for honing your skills before taking on the challenges of the course
With its' superb conditions and beautiful wetlands setting, Cypress Head is a public club that offers a private and tranquil experience.

Fast greens, fun day.
The course layout is a challenge, and the greens are slippery fast with pin placement never on a flat spot. Greens were recently sanded and rolled.

Fast greens
The course is in pretty good shape but a little wet in spots. Shooting at pins on the front edge didn’t work well…balls plugged instead of releasing onto the greens, which are very fast. Nice layout with plenty of challenges. Recommend playing here.
Nice layout and great greens
Fairway are just a mess. Dead areas all over but I love the layout so bad and the greens were perfect. So all in all I think it will be much healthier this summer but really challenging track. If you are 10 index of higher I'd recommend the white tees. Xourse ikays longer than the yardage .
Course Did Not Disappoint
You really must play this course, fairways decent shape, sand traps are being taken care of, and greens running fast but true. Also, course is narrow in many holes so bring your straight game or more golf balls; however, you will enjoy your round!
Consistently good
I have golfed here many times and have never walked away disappointed. The staff is friendly and helpful, the pro shop has anything you might have forgotten or need to replace at the last minute. There are many risk reward holes and holes that demand some thought off the tee and where you are going to hit your approach shot. Add some of the best greens in the county and you have a course worthy of bringing your friends too for a good game of golf.
Canoe trip
we managed 12 holes before the rain and boy did it rain.
Cypress Head is always one of our favourite courses and it doesnt dissapoint. great value for the price.
power carts were on a 90 degree rule due to previous rains although we found very few areas that were soaked.Greens ran true and fast, fairways in good shape.the bunkers were sufficiently dry to play in despite previous rain.
Unfortunate that we were rained off after 12.
