About
Cypress Head, an Arthur Hills design, is a blend of holes and styles, a layout of two distinct nines that impress players through different means. At 6,805 yards from the tournament tees, the course is not a beast (there are three alternative sets to choose from).
The first nine is the highlight at Cypress Head. These holes take on a variety of shapes and strategies with little repetition.
It features multi-tiered undulating greens and preserved wetlands with water coming into play on 14 of the 18 holes. The 14th hole is a 478-yard par 4 over water that comes into play off the tee as well as the second shot to the multi tiered green.
The Golf Club also features a lighted driving range and practice facility. Two practice putting greens, a target green and sand bunkers for honing your skills before taking on the challenges of the course
With its' superb conditions and beautiful wetlands setting, Cypress Head is a public club that offers a private and tranquil experience.

Has grass
Unlike many courses around Daytona in the winter this course actually has grass so very nice to hit off of on the fairways and around the greens. Greens were slower than some other courses but in good shape. Nice mixture of easy and difficult holes.
Good Day
The course is in very good shape. Greens are good. Go out and play.
Dun to play
Horse was in good condition. More grass in the Fairway than many surrounding courses. Greens were good but there were a few spots on a few grains that were not grown in completely. Greens were medium speed. Fairways were somewhat soft I believe they've been watering the course pretty readily. Good combination of easy and difficult holes..
Recent rains made the course very wet. Other than that it was another great round at Cypress Head.
First Time Playing
Although we’ve heard about Cyprus Head for a few years, this is the first time we’ve had and opportunity to play the track. The staff was extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. The course was in great condition and even though we were only able to play 9 holes, we had a great time and will definitely play there again.
Great course layout
Enjoyed playing this course and the challenges to my game.
I was disappointed in the pace, had to wait too long at each hole.
I play at a fast and consistent pace.

Great challenging well kept course
Course is well kept and pretty tough. Had a great time.
The course was in excellent condition. The design is such to allow you to choose if you want to be challenged or you can choose an easier more relaxed tee box.
Good Value for a Nice Course
This was my first round at GCCH. Despite being located in a community, the houses were a good distance from the course. It is a challenging layout made playable by numerous tees boxes to accommodate a variety of abilities. The tees and greens are in very good condition and the fairways are in good condition. A nice practice range. And the restaurant is open.
